Blog Addon ?

I searched everywhere and could not find this but....
I would like to know if there is a free Blog addon available, since as far as I know you can no longer purchase the blog addon for 3.8?

I looked at the new 4.0 suite. But sorry $250 is ridiculous as an "UPGRADE" fee (a mere $35 less than the full price).

Hell at this point, even a blogging addon with a small fee would work.
Mainly looking for something that can just give each forum user their own optional blogging page, it doesn't have to be super advanced or anything.

Upon continuous searching, I was able to find an old addon that sounds like it does what I am looking for, But the problem is that it is old and apparently not compatible with 3.8. Is there maybe a newer version of this addon?

vBlog no longer exists as a standalone. You must buy the vB4 publishing suite to get it.
There are no simple blog addons for vB3. Sorry
