How to I create a button to show Active topics ?

1. Go to Search / Advanced Search
2. In Search Type, check Posts
3. In Additional Options (Find Posts), choose a date: For example; Yesterday, Your Last Visit, A Week Ago, ... (and Newer)
4. Click on Search Now

How would this button you want be different than the What's New button?
