I am unaware of a way to do this easily. The only thing I could suggest would be a navbar menu or tab (see the Articles area on how to make these).

Personally, I'd love it if the old mod that integrated Google search was updated for vb4.

theres a mod for this. I have in my forum, you just need to look for it.I beleive you are mistaken. You're probably thinking about the mod that the OP specifically told you they weren't interested in - check the link that was given. Or you're thinking about pre-vb4 versions.
