yea i know, I'm in the same situation, I made a thread like a week ago and a lot of views but no answers.

What you can do is go to your AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > [Add New Style]

On title type any name you want and click SAVE

that should create a style with the default settings and colors. ( like the default style )

I'm not sure if this is possible but try to download the customizations made in one of the styles you already have all your mods working and upload them to the new style..

sounds like a plan, would you be able to give me step by step instructions?

As I said before I'm not sure about this so it might not work.

1.- Add the default style as I explained to you in my previous post.
2.- go to AdminCP > Download / Upload Styles: and download one of the styles you have your forum mods all working and check the option "Get customizations made only in this style"
3.- After downloading the xml at the same page on the lower side "Import Style XML File" browse for the xml you've just downloaded and in the dropdown "Merge Into Style" instead of (create a new style) choose the default style you've created. Ignore Style Version = yes.

hope it works.

What you want is impossible.

You want a default style, but with the changes for your modifications. If you make changes, then it is not a default style anymore.

It's not possible then. If you installed an add-on that required template edits, then when you change to a new style you will need to manually edit everything you previously edited on the other styles.

Why don't you go to the products page on your AdminCP and get all the names ( the ones that required template edits ) then you search them here in vb.org and see the instructions of how to install. Most of the mods that are here vb.org require very simple template modifications..

ok i will do that :D how do I know if they require edits?

1st look for the name of the mods you have installed in your forum and search them here in vb.org

then read the mod instructions and you'll find out if it requires template edits or not.
