Could we set up an Australian Version ?

If so could someone explain the process please

I think it applies to different languages only. Last I checked Australia spoke English, and so vBulletin.com.au isn't really neccessary.

Yeah the language bit is a given. However the time difference bit isnt. Rather than dilute I reckon an Australia version could enhance

First of all such a request should be made on the vBulletin.com forums or in a ticket. vBulletin.org staff can not decide what will be an official site.

Currently there are only 2 official modification websites, vBulletin.org and the German counterpart. These are sites operated by the official distributor of vBulletin, the German for the german speaking market, Jelsoft/vBulletin Solutions operating vBulletin.org for the rest of the world.

Until now the company policy has always been that an official site (like vBulletin.org) must be operated by the local/world distributor. But you are free to try and change their minds.
