Problems of background color changes since update to 4.0.2

I want to change the background color pointed by the red arrowhead. (background of a post)
I can change the background color of the place pointed by the blue arrow (style_var: body_background), but the color pointed by the red arrow changes as well!!!
I want to change the background color pointed by the red arrow ONLY.


The style_var postbit_background doesn't take any effect, I'm totally lost.....

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you point me into the right direction, please? All my trials resulted in a different color of signature font, user title font....


It's unbelievable what bad work the vbulletin team is delivering....one bug resolved, two others created......and we paid for....:mad:
At present I'm struggling with those skinning variables, my usual admin job has to wait.....:down:

Just use the stock styles for now. It seems things will be a lot better after vB 4.04

It will be a lot better at..it seems...........hahaha... I can't hear that anymore....IT SHOULD be good at gold release already!

We have paid for the update to 100% and I want to use it 100%.

Administering forums with 125 thousand members requires an attractive style....I cannot afford to make my members angry by offering that ugly default style which is much too bright. They already complained about....

I have invested hours to create a new style and now the 4.0.2 update messed some colors.

Come on vbulletin I'm really angry about vb4!

How can I fix that by myself?
