Hey all... couldn't seem to find any information on this specifically.
What I am looking to do is assign a personal "guide" (selected from the existing users on the forums) to each new user when they register on my forum. I'd like to be able to select & assign that person in a rotating fashion from a specific usergroup, and have both the new user and the guide be alerted via PM automatically. Nothing too fancy really, but I'm no coder so I really have no idea where to start with this or how to make it work.
Any suggestions from the masses?
