I've gone into the MySQL and manually updated the 'smiliepath' to the URL to the image server but VB seems to ignore it.
How do you get VB to load smilies from a static image server?

Just figured this out. You have to modify the SQL and then "reset" the bitfields? by going into your Avatar group, opening one up and just saving it. This should "reset" the system and then the modified URL works properly.
