Can't Post a Poll

I put the checkmark in the Post a Poll box, choose the number of options and nothing happens. Suggestions?

FYI, the poll stuff won't come up until after you post. i.e., if you don't hit the Post button you'll never get the poll. I think if your usergroup doesn't have permissions to post polls you won't even see the poll options.
