I launched this about a month ago. There are 54 users so far but nobody seems to want to post anything. What am I doing wrong?

www.twrclimber.com

Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

thanks

Ok, I made a bunch of changes to the format. I had to change the domain name to www.thewirelessregister.com because of a threatened law suit by www.twrlighting.com .

Please take a look and let me know what you think.

One thing that is absolutely killing you is the intro page. That blocks Search Engine spiders from viewing your forum.

As the owner of the forum, you need to create discussion and keep it going. People want to see updated content constantly. Give them reasons to reply, give them discussions to be interested in.

Ok, thank you. I will get rid of the intro. Thanks for the input.

I like it. Real simple and clean and the style lends itself to electronics, and engineering types which is who I assume would be who you are looking to draw. Of course style is only the beginning...after that content is king.

Thank you. It is definitely a work in progress. My project now is to get rid of the splash page at www.thewirelessregister.com and go directly to the forum. Trying to figure out how to tell Apache to do that.

I really like the skin. What is it? Ive been thinking of changing mine to a darker format like yours. It reads very well and is easy on the eyes. Its refreshing to see a site that isnt overdone and the design theme totally fits your audiance. I wouldnt change anything design wise.

Thanks.

The skin is called BP-Brown.

Looks nice, sir, although the header image is a little too tall and takes up a lot of space, I think. ;)

Yeah, been thinking about that. Thanks for your input Boofo.

I like how the highlight follows the mouse pointer in forums and threads...

I'm not a fan of having two bars of the same color right above each other when opening a thread... IMO the bar with the "LinkBack" text should be different, darker probably, then the one below it.
