How do i add signature to old posts?

Is there a way in 4.0.1 to add signatures to old posts made before a signature was added?
I found a 3.8 mod but nothing for 4.x yet.
I tried editing the old posts but that did not add a signature

There is no need for a mod. It can be simply done with a query in the phpmyadmin.

UPDATE post SET showsignature = 1;

If your tables have a prefix, don''t forget to include it in the query. I just tested it at my test site and it worked like a charm. Hope it helps. Let me know how it will go.

After I figured out how to give myself permission to run a query :eek: , it did indeed work like a charm.

P.s. You can run queries from phpmyadmin as well. Which is the best way in my opinion as you can also make a backup of the db prior to apply changes to it. In this case a backup wasn''t necessary. I mean for bigger changes and for future reference :)
