How can we reset dismissed Notices/banners?

Most banners on our forum are dismissable by users. Is there a way for users to reset the dismissed banners to reappear themselves? If can only be reset for specific users by forum staffers, how?

just uncheck the dismissible box and make sure they are recurring.

We want to allow the users to dismiss them. Is there a way to allow them to reset the dismissed banners so they can view them again? I recall annother site I used to visit that had a link posted, link is now broken, that would reset the dismissed banners to be viewed again by said user.
http//www. * * * * .com/forums/resetdismiss.php. the *'s is where the site name went.

Is there anything like that that I can set up for our users?

just make sure the persistent box is checked, and the dismissible box is checked.

they can dismiss them, but then they will still reappear

you can customize them to appear to only certain usergroups

Active Persistent and Dismissible are all ticked. I have dismissed the notice for myself and the notice no longer reappears...little help please...thanks
