This is my first mod, please go easy. I always wanted a slide show on the front page of my site. Look thru a few threads and it seem to be an easy mod.

1-go to photobucket.com
2-create a slide show
3-pick different style you like
4-choose pictures from our album to load into the slide show
5-copy the direct link code
6-go back to your admincp
7-pick CMPS
8-create a new module
9-paste the slide code
10- save and you are done

To modify the code you can add the word "<center>" code goes here "</center>" ( remove the "" )

You also can take out the photo tabs if you want to, just remove the below link.

"<a href="http://photobucket.com/slideshows" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/slideshows/btn.gif" style="float:left;border-width: 0;" >"

"<img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/slideshows/btn_viewallimages.gif" style="float:left;border-width: 0;" >"

you can check out the mod here: www.worldwidereefers.com

hope you guys enjoy it.

Looks promising, but I can't use Photobucket for my site as it's an adult forum. Love to have something similar that I host the images myself.

Do you know of any other hacks/mods that do this?

I would be interested in that also. Not the adult part...the ability to link it to my own hosting.

Right now I have this working with Widgets, the problem is that I can place this at the very top or bottom of my home page, and what I would like to do is place this just below an area on my system. Can this be done with BB Code? And can someone help me with an example with the code used by the developer that posted this.

I run a photography site and have some widgets on the right and this is placed over to the left center and want this below the "Picture Of The Month" so this is why I'm think that BB code will be better and that I can place this below the POM image.

Or any suggestions would help, and thanks in advance...

Dennis

Oh thank you, that would be great if you could help me out with this. It would be great if this would work and I would be very happy.

Thanks again.

Hi,

I have tried this but struggling to know exactly what code to put in.

I have entered the following into a new bb module for cmps-

<a href="http://s1340.beta.photobucket.com/user/Mad4it1417/story/60141" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1340.photobucket.com/albums/o738/Mad4it1417/story/60141/thumb/large.png" border="0" alt="Mad4it1417's Story"/></a>

<iframe src="http://s1340.beta.photobucket.com/user/Mad4it1417/story/60141/embed" width="650" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

But when I get a blank photo outline.

Any ideas please.
