Hey,
My forum isn't due for renewal yet, but I know another forum that is, and they said the renewal price has increased... but I couldn't find anywhere what could tell me what a 1 year lease licence would cost.

Could you enlighten me, thanks.

There are no more such licenses.
They basically pay an "upgrade" fee to vBulletin 4.0, instead of paying a simple little fee to keep upgrading rights.

What about in terms of vB 3.... I don't want to upgrade to 4

As I said, there are no more licenses available for vBulletin 3. This includes vBulletin 3 License Renewals.

Ok, so does this mean I'm forced into upgrading to vb4?
Or can I keep vb3 under a vb4 licence.

You can keep vBulletin 3 under a vBulletin 4 license. All users are given that option, as vBulletin 4 is not recommended for public use, yet. (As far as I was last told)

kNeeLy, even though it's "gold" and is supported, I have seen discussion by others, and if I'm not mistaken, staff, saying at 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 that it should not be ran in public, or at least on big boards. I've lessened my visits to the official vBulletin websites to see anything about 4.0.2. Public not being too much of an issue, just the issue with big boards and the scare of large amounts of queries or some crap like that.

4.1 will probably be the gold that should've been 4.0.

Questions regarding licensing and pricing should be asked at vBulletin.com. vBulletin.org does not sell any licenses.
