i have a fairly new forum so these are no-way my current statistics..
Threads 16,777,325 Posts 4,294,968,214
the only thing i can think of i have done would be remove the thread/post count display in each forum..
apart from that i got some guests that was viewing WOLPATH page which kinda freeked me out..
but yea why are my forum statistics un-real? is it possible people are storing stuff on my database?
or is it an error that has occurred when i removed the subscription icon and post/thread count from each forum display..
advice please?

Try updating your counters (AdminCP>Maintenance>Update counters).

Don't forget to update your search index too after a major upgrade. This can take a long time (if you have a lot of posts), so plan on an overnight run.

what would you consider a major upgrade?
like a security patch?
a new style?
a plugin?
a widget?
im like a vampire draining the information from you..

"Major" was from vb 3.x to vb 4.x. Many people are having search trouble after the upgrade and re-indexing fixes it. Just thought I would mention it since you're in there anyway.

so would re-indexing be like refreshing? or would i be erasing things?
could i go do it now for the heck of it?

I'm no expert, having only re-indexed once after updating to vb4. There's an option to erase the current index; I did it. Then I left it running overnight.

This has happened on our 4.0.2 forum a few times. Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Rebuild Forum Information.
It seems to happen whenever I edit a bunch of CMS articles for some reason.
