Convert forum Thread into a "Blog" entry??

Does anyone know how I go about converting forum posts into Blog entries?

I have hundreds of threads created in my forum section that are "blogs" essentially. But now that "blogs" are a totally different environment with the latest vB versions, I'd like to remove those old threads and migrate them over into the BLOG environment. Maintaining the creation dates, and corresponding responses to that original thread post.

I've seen that, but it doesn't keep respect to the original creation date or any of the original attributes if I'm not mistaken.

Just did a test to make sure I'm not nuts.............

It puts the post in a quote ---- Thus not converting to a blog.
Does not replace the original post --- Thus not converting to a blog

That Blog this Post feature is simply a way to quote somebody like you do when commenting on anyone's commenting in the forums. No conversion is taking place.

I want to make the thread in the forum disappear and reappear in the BLOGS section as an original Blog. Basically make it look like it was Blogged in the first place. Not posted as a thread.
