How can I add another instance of Quick Navigation?

My users want a 2nd Quick Navigation control at the top of the threads and forums, instead of the single one at the bottom. Can someone tell me how to do this?

I added {vb:raw forumjump} near the top in SHOWTHREAD which did the trick BUT it aligns to the right side of the page. I'd like it to be on the left side (right above the REPLY TO THREAD button, perhaps), where users are more likely to see if, particularly if their browser window isn't wide enough.

And actually it is 4+ years, and only three people asked, so it got overlooked.

I would suggest starting your own thread and not bump such old posts. :)
