i want to give admin rank to my friend but just a few permission...i just want him to manage some particular area like moderating posts and giving ranks to members and forum n moderators area and the will be not visible to him.....coz i dont want him to see the rest of the admin panel

After you add him to the admin group is shows you in red text to update his permissions.
