How can I set infractions to deliver by e-mail and not by PM?

Don't think that is actually possible. Most members on forums rarely check their emails for the account they signed up with as they are not going to waste two minutes opening up an email about an infraction.

IMO, infractions are best left to PM's.

The reason I don't want it to go to PM's because I don't like the mods being yelled at for giving that person an infraction.

It happens to me everytime I give an infraction on the forums I moderate.

There is something to say for sending it by email as the infraction might also lead to a (temporary) ban, in which case the user can not even read the PM's anymore.

So I would need something of a modification to set it like that.

There is a mod in one of the 3.x forums if you check in all modification forums with the sort of "Moderators Functions" prefix you'll be able to find it ;)
