DragonByte Technologies are proud to present vBActivity & Awards Lite v2: The most advanced, most feature-rich and most professional Activity tracking system ever.

Why vBActivity?

vBActivity is Brought to you by the Designer of products such as RPG Inferno and Inferno vBShout and the programmer of RPG Integration v3. vBActivity Lite from DragonByte Tech is a modification designed to allow yourself and your members to keep track of their activity, and be rewarded for it. Give points for many different actions - Posting, Starting threads, Voting, Referrals...

Furthermore, your members get rewarded for creating content which is popular! Gain points for every post in a thread you created, points for high thread ratings, for having a good reputation and more!

You can utilise vBA to encourage members to do certain things on your forum. Lack of new threads? Increase the points given for starting a thread and watch as the thread count rises. Need an influx of new members? Give a boost to referral points and watch as people try to collect more points.

Set Achievement targets for your members to encourage them to get more posts, start more threads, or do any one of a number of things!

Is quality more important to your forum than quantity? Use our Awards system. Manually allocate medals to users for things like the most thoughtful post, the best thread or even things like the most unique signature!

vBActivity v2 has been almost completely rewritten to provide a faster and more scalable activity tracking platform. Already it's showing great potential in the feature requests our Pro users have realised they can now request and see implemented.
This is a major update that solves every performance problem, as well as many of the design problems.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

We appreciate the support!

Major Features

Activity Tracking & Stats: Dedicated activity tracking pages lets you see how many points members have gained for each action, and a browseable archive of aquired activity points lets you see exactly when the points were gained.

Achievements: A powerful engine for creating new achievements lets you create Achievements matching just about any criteria you can think of based on the list of actions (full list of actions can be found in the Complete Feature List below).

Awards: For the moments that deserve something special, you can create and hand out special awards separately from Achievements, acting as unique merit badges.

Professional Only Benefits

Trophies: Give members trophies for being the best at something! Most posts? Trophy! Most threads? Trophy! Only one member can hold a trophy at a time, meaning lots of competition to be *THE ONE*!

Backups: Want to share your carefully put together collection of Achievements, Medals and Trophies with other vBActivity Pro owners? Want to re-install vBActivity on a fresh forum without losing your configuration? Use the backup and import system to achieve this.

Snapshots: Do you want to give double points for a week to encourage activity? With our Snapshot system it's as easy as a click of a button. Take a snapshot of your current settings, change it to what you want for the week, then switch back to your old settings instantly!

Would this install on 4.0??

Bouncer222
02-26-2010, 08:42 PM
I love the fact that this is finally released for 4.0 but in my opinion it is lacking some major features such as the activity bar.

If you ever heared of vbexperience 3.8 ... it has some really extraordinary features... if you could implement those into this one... I will install and nominate!

Please at least implement the activity bar into the posbit_legacy like vbexperience.

Here it is https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=199556&highlight=vbexperience

Thanks

Nice hack thank you!

How much ressources does this hack need?

DragonByte Tech
02-26-2010, 08:45 PM
Rammie: The mod *should* work fine on 4.0, however we believe it has issues with 4.0.1

Bouncer: thanks for your feedback. If there are any features in particular you feel vBA is missing, please let us know and we will do what we can to add them.

There are some features in the pro version which are not listed here, but we are not allowed to discuss them. You can find them at our website

There's a bug in v1.0.0 that results in PHP errors on showthread.
You can fix it by manually recalculating points - AdminCP -> vBActivity -> Maintenance -> Recalculate Points.

This will be permanently fixed in the next version.

Thank ya much, looking at the two products they both appear to be worth the full versions and I'll probably be grabbing them both. Just need to get some things working with them first. =)

Nice, I'm keeping an eye on this mod :)

Points for "time online" and the popular "Post Thank You Hack" would be great. And indeed, some progress bars would be nice.

Time online is already planned for a future version.

As in most cases, if enough of our pro customers request compatability with another mod, it's something we'll do =)

Integration with at least one other modification (be it vBulletin Blog or something else) is planned, as Iain said. If nothing else, then because we want to teach people how to create their own addons for this mod.

I realise that this is nigh-on impossible without any form of documentation, but such documentation (and, as mentioned, an "official demo") is coming in due time :)

If yes, I will install! For now, only postbit/postbit_legacy.
User Profile is coming, though :)

The only progress bar shown is how many % you've gained in the level (f.ex if you have 75% to go to level up, the progress bar will have a width of 25%).
This is because we changed the way Activity works, so that it works off a percentage of average activity (this may be changed in the future because atm, the Activity percentages are kinda wacky atm :p

Looking good, hope this will integrate with the whole CMS version of VB, points for blogs articles etc.

Will be looking for the final pro version!Indeed it will, we will create official addons for at least Blogs and CMS (if possible), and create documentation so that other users can write addons for this product without shooting in the dark ;)

LOL 800% activity. that really is a bug!!

Actually it's supposed to show %ages above 100 - it's designed to compare you to the average user.

The problem is that when there are a lot of new users, or users only gaining points for being registered etc, you end up with a massive %age discrepancy (stuff like 50,000% =P)

The new system will instead either automatically set, or allow admins to set, point targets per day/week/month for users which will display as a bar and a %age in their postbit - but they can fill their bar and still keep raising their percentage, so their activity level can be 200% of the target etc =)

vbexperience isnt going to get upgraded. the developer has given up on the project.

DragonByte Tech,

The reason some people aren't installing this because your mod is missing a major feature in my opinon. It's all about activity, yet you have no bar that shows how active a user is from 0 to 100 percent active, vbexperience, does do that.

Are you going to implement it in the Lite version?
Because honestly I have no intention of spending money on pro version.

It's unlikely that we will put the feature in the Lite version - There has to be some reward to our customers who pay for our products and enable us to continue to create mods =)

The current version still has a level indicator showing how active a person has been, and the Lite version will also display what %age activity the person has (in relation to the target) Just not with a graphical interface - The graphical upgrades etc are one of the features rewarding our pro customers.

Daily/Weekly/Monthly Activity bars will be in the next Pro Version.

Thanks for trying the mod =)

Wow. Way to come off rude. :erm:

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well.

I can say from personal experience that the authors of this mod are willing to do whatever they need to in order to improve their product. Comments like the one you're referring to, do zero in helping to create a better product.

Such people expect so much for nothing and then are rude when they don't get what they want. It's a serious problem in general and shows up a lot here on vb.org. It's better than such people DON'T use these mods. Otherwise they just stick around and keep acting like jerks, causing mod authors to pull their free/lite versions.

So... all in all, as long as those with such attitudes stay away, we're all better off.

Maybe vb.org needs a way for a mod author to ban someone from a particular mod. That way if they don't want to use it, the authors can make sure they don't hand around being jerks.

I did not mean any offence so get off my back dude.

all i said was the current % is too wierd to even try to work out and a status bar is needed, without it, it is a joke tbh, you must agree, this really should of been put in with this mod so all can see the status

Again as i stated, i will await a better version

So ?????

This means, I shall await an update of the % and the status bar - not that hard to read between the lines dude is it ?

=) Everyone has a different opinion of what is and isn't required by a mod.

We decided to try something a little different for activity - turns out it didn't work, so we're going to go in another direction.

Even though the company is young, the customers we have are great - they've been really helpful and let us know what features they would like and what changes they think should be made, so we're working with them to make those changes.

A graphical status bar probably won't be in the Lite version (We need to keep *some* features for Pro) But the current activity %age system will be undergoing a major overhaul to make it much easier to understand and use, and much more useful for measuring activity.

Thanks for your feedback, Hopefully future versions of vBA will be better suited to your needs.

I've just hotfixed a number of potentially serious bugs with this version.
These are:
* Custom avatars would fail to display properly if they were served from the Database
* Threaded mode would fail to load properly
* Accepting a friends request would silently fail

There's no new version number, so all you need to do to patch is download the new zip, and upload the files to your server :)

I installed the product and all is going well with it except I can't get achievements to work. I rebuild and all that jazz, yet no achievements show up. I've done several simple ones and nothing.

Any suggestions? My forum is http://www.hotbloodedgaming.com/forum/forum.php

EDIT:

I got the achievements to work. I'm still having one problem though.

The: http://www.hotbloodedgaming.com/forum/member.php?4-Kreyg?tab=vbactivity Link doesn't go to the tab when it's clicked.

REQUEST:

This is a request I have. I didn't see a way to make achievements for the "Activity Rating" I think it would be great to make an achievement called "It's over 9000!!" for users that break that 9000%

I'll see if I can work around that for the next version.

Supramania

Honestly my only gripe is one you appear to be addressing. It's the % of activity calculation. Every other mod I've seen takes the activity of the most active member and gauges everyone against him. (i.e. - you are 75% as active as the most active member.)

Right now, my leader board shows my #1 user of having an activity of 141599.96% and me personally at 51508.02% - that's not exactly useful info.

For a quick fix:
open /dbtech/vbactivity/includes/hooks/showthread_query.php

Place directly beneath <?php:

}

I had to disable this. Just too many queries against MySQL.

With the mod enabled my server load averages (Dedicated Server, CentOS5, quad processor) were up in the 4's and 5's - the load peaked today at: 10.59 8.98 8.50

With this mod disabled, I'm now seeing consistent numbers like this: 0.38 0.33 0.53 with the same number of users as before -- this is more like "normal" for my hardware.

I turned on the slow query log in MySQL and it was filled with queries from this app. It's good, but the performance hit was killing my site. Users complaining about page load time, etc.

I'll look at the config and I'll see what I can change to be able to turn this back on.

DragonByte Tech

I'll re-enable it later and post up some results - I already flushed the log file, sorry. :(

Not used to this kind of quick response. I do appreciate it and will come back with data for you.

Hmm... how many members does your forum have?

10,000 +/-
About 1.5 million posts.

A 30x increase in load doesn't sound normal at all...

No, I was struggling with server performance all last night and this morning, tweaking MySQL cache settings, etc. I didn't think a vBulletin mod could have that dramatic of an effect. I've got plenty of hardware behind the site for its relative size.

I finally enabled the slow query log to see what was putting such load on my processors and it was this mod, which really surprised me.

Supramania
03-02-2010, 10:41 PM
Ok, I just tested again. This is in a very slow time of the day with only 100 +/- connections to the site.

Prior to enabling mod:

0.47 0.43 0.38 | 112 Users Online (74 members and 38 guests)

Immediately after enabling mod:

1.18 0.63 0.45 | 118 Users Online (78 members and 40 guests)

a few minutes after enabling mod:

2.12 1.36 0.80 | 113 Users Online (72 members and 41 guests)

This trend will continue until server load goes out of control and connections start getting throttled.

After mod is disabled for a few minutes:

0.57 0.81 0.76 | 111 Users Online (70 members and 41 guests)

My slow query threshold is set to 10 seconds. The mod is pumping queries that take 10 seconds or more into the queue every 2 seconds, this causes MySQL to backlog severely until the entire site runs like molasses. Eventually the system starts rejecting connections due to high processor load because MySQL is running away with all 4 processors.

Attached find the slow query log after just a couple of minutes of running with the mod enabled.

It pumps an entry like the following into the log about every 2 seconds:

# Time: 100302 18:29:40
# User@Host: databasename[databasename] @ localhost []
# Query_time: 13.313781 Lock_time: 0.000048 Rows_sent: 4 Rows_examined: 368738
SET timestamp=1267576180;
SELECT SUM(points) AS newpoints, userid
FROM dbtech_vbactivity_pointslog
WHERE userid IN(
SELECT userid
FROM post AS post
WHERE post.postid IN (0967161,967167,967177,967178,967194,967203,967204 ,967232,967238,967243)
)
AND points > 0
GROUP BY userid;

I've just re-uploaded the zip file without the offending query.
What this means for the product is, for the next 24 hours your Activity rating might spike a bit higher (:p) but your forums shouldn't bog down like that again.

If it does, please let us know and we will fix it as soon as possible. Your feedback is quite invaluable in this, none of us have access to such a huge forums as yours, so it's great that you're willing to help out :D

Just re-upload all the files, no need to do anything with the XML :)

Supramania

I have uploaded the zip and it has been enabled for about 30 minutes.

Load averages are 0.80 0.76 0.60

Looks like you got it. Thanks!

Also, is it possible to add userid= as a criteria - with that one feature, your mod can completely replace the other "awards" system I have running.

DragonByte Tech
03-03-2010, 12:14 AM
There's a feature for making awards and giving them to users in the Pro version (we call them Medals) :)
That system's due for an overhaul in v1.1 as well, when it'll be able to give the same award to the same user multiple times.

Glad to hear the problem has been solved, in the next version we'll take care of the Activity formula problem, which should bring this mod out of Beta.

Btw, could you leave the Slow Query Log on overnight, so that it can log the "Daily Points" Cron job?
I worry that that's a performance hit, and you're the only big-board user I know of ;)

Thanks in advance :)

Fillip

If so, here's what you need to do:

Go into your Manage Achievements section, set every Achievement to have display order 0.
Manually set display order = 1 for one Achievement
Try Recalculate Achievements again. If the error doesn't appear, repeat step 2 until it does.
Tell me when you reach the Achievement that has the error, and I will fix it :)Thanks in advance :)

I'd guess (purely a guess too), but subnavs are nav items in relation to the primary nav tab you're currently on.

There are no sub nav links for activity (maybe there should be?). But regardless it wouldn't make sense to have things like "Blog Settings" and such if the Activity tab is the active tab.

ti07shadow
03-08-2010, 06:24 PM
however that sub nav displays on eveyr page on my forums but the activity area. also this isnt the suite version of vbulletin nor do I have the blog that works with this version of vbulletin only the on that works with previous versons before 4.X.X so blog stuff wont appear on mine :p

DragonByte Tech

Trek is indeed correct, I just didn't add any sub-items to it.

The only other thing I can think of is that you somehow have an Achievement in the system that's been deleted.

try adding this above that statement:

{
continue;
}

Really I can't see it anywhere.... I spent 5 minutes looking through your site. Good way to lose my business, hiding your prices behind registration or placing them in a obscure place.

Are there any plans to implement the monthly stats, as I only want this mod to help run a competition... and as it is it won't do this.

I would be more than happy to pay for it, if it did this.

DragonByte Tech
03-14-2010, 01:21 AM
I reckon it would be feasible to add monthly stats. I suppose we should store the Top X daily/weekly/monthly winners (where X is a number chosen by the Admin, and each stat storage can be individually disabled).

I'm not entirely sure when the next feature release is going to be, as we have other stuff on our plate right now (such as bringing out a bugfix release over the course of next week) but whenever it is, it'll definitely be a Pro feature.

For some reason, you are missing $includes = '<script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/dbtech/vbactivity/vbactivity.js?v=' . $vbulletin->options['dbtech_vbactivity_versionnumber'] . '"></script>';
from your vbactivity.php file - either that or your headinclude_bottom template variable is missing from your GENERIC_SHELL template.

The problem is that vBActivity isn't being fed its JavaScript file.

Then go to Manage Achievements, Add New Achievement and set it to use the Criteria you made in the previous step :)

I meant the sections in the ACP that allow you to edit the code.

Repair Cache

are all showing up as empty PHP pages.

DragonByte Tech

Can you access some form of error logs in your hosting control panel (like cPanel, LxAdmin, etc)?
If not, then you'll need to ask your host to show you how to turn on PHP errors, because I can't help debug that unless I know what's wrong...

Fillip

DaDarkDude
04-16-2010, 01:33 PM
Sorry, but I don't really get what you want.. You want the error logs? Because we don't even have error logs showing up, just a blank page.
(You'll probably see a no permission mask, but:
http://kingdomheartsmedia.com/forums/admincp/vbactivity.php?do=achievement)
And all the other links are just appearing empty.
I'm thinking it's probably a problem with the php file..?

So, I just discovered something. It works in the modcp, but it's not working in the admincp... is that a known issue?

DragonByte Tech
04-16-2010, 04:22 PM

I just installed the lite version, and ran the 'Recalculate Points' tool to get the system started. After that, the 'Activity Target' set itself to 93.91. Is this a good number?

Being that I don't have any experience with this MOD yet, what is a good 'Activity Target' and 'Activity Target: Minimum Points' setting? I understand it varies from community to community, but I just want some feedback....

DragonByte Tech
05-02-2010, 04:31 PM
The target will always be the best number for your community, though I must warn you that the first day, week and month, the Daily, Weekly and Monthly stats respectively will be out of whack.

The system assumes every single point that's generated by past posts / threads etc came today, so that'll naturally upset the targets some.

Leaving it alone will mean it corrects itself over time :)

Very cool very cool! So if your community becomes more active, it automatically sets the bar higher to be 'active' - and visa versa. Very clever.

Also, one more thing (for now anyways =D):
In the postbit, I see your forum (http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forum.php) has daily and monthly activity indicators. Is this for the paid version only? I didn't see any details about this in the comparison page (http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/content/115-vBActivity).

Just now it will already display the top X users by a number of categories you can set

(sort by username, total points, daily activity, weekly activity, monthly activity, overall activity level)

HI Dragon Byte with introduction of a monthly goal, have/could it be setup to record the top 10 of a given month? It's not currently possible to do this, however we're investigating including a "activity winners" page in the future :)

But if I were to say log in on the 1st of the month and sort the list by the month, would it show me the top active people for the last 31/30 days?

Could you see your product being able to give this information in anyway as it is? Doesn't necessarly have to record it.

DragonByte Tech

No it wouldn't, you'd have to log in on the last day of the month to see this.
It's not currently designed to store the statistics, but it's something we're considering for the future :)

So it would work if I ran a 28 day compition? Starting on the 1st of the month and ending a couple of days before the end.

I'm not new to having to work with software that doesn't quite do what I want it :)

Also I just relised you can't exlude certain users from vbactivity, what about forums that use RSS bots?

I have a question however, how can I remove the navigation tab for this? Thank you.

In the next version, due in not too long hopefully, I'll add a setting to turn off the navbar tab. Sorry about the inconvenience :(

It has been over a week since I ran "Recalculate Points" tool and 'Weekly Activity' percentages are still all over play. For example, 7812.93% for one member.

When does this number come down to a normal level? I thought it would be a week after the recalculation - this is not the case apparently.

DragonByte Tech
05-12-2010, 09:18 PM
Does that one member have a vastly higher post / points generation than the rest of the member base?

If not, try adjusting the threshold setting you'll find directly under the target setting in vBulletin Options, then run re-calculate again (it won't change your points, just the targets).
I cannot tell you the correct setting for your forum, you need to figure that out by going to the leader boards and keep adjusting the number up (small increments) until you find a level that's appropriate for your forum.

Hope that helps :)

You can manually adjust it if you prefer - It might be worth doing this for the first month.

The reason is all of the points a person has ever earned are counted as being earned in one day, which skews the figures for that month haha.

It should fix itself after the first month at worst. It depends on your exact settings IIRC.

Is there any documentation that will tell me what the different achievement levels are? I can't find anything on that after installing.I'm not sure what you mean by Achievement Levels, could you clarify please? :)

If you mean the "Level" you see in postbit (Activity Level) then it's just a measurement of how many activity points your members have accumulated over time.

If you mean different "tiers" of Achievements, then it means that you can create an Achievement that your members gain when they have reached, for instance; 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 posts.
The corresponding Criteria will be Posts >= 1, Posts >= 5, [...] Posts >= 1000.

If neither is what you meant, then I'll need more information before I can answer your question :)

I cannot see where I would do this. I have the following options under settings:

At no point do I see on any of these any place where I can add in tiers or select images for them or any such thing.

Yep, but unfortunately it didn't help me!

I'm still confuddled about the relationships between categories/achievements/criteria. A handful of examples would be great.

How do I set different images for awards?

On the activity page, not understanding where the %s are calculated.

Also, would prefer raw points rather than %s .

In the future I know that I'll be looking to run short term competitions and calculate the points gained over that period but without affecting the total points overall.

Is there any further documentation with the pro version?

Criteria are conditions that members need to fulfill to gain an achievement.
Upload an image to the images/icons/vbactivity/achievements and they will become select able.

Questions and observations after first week of using this:

In the leaderboard, how can I remove some of the stats give? For example, the infractions is not something I want out there.

Is there any way to remove some of the columns in the ranking page? Better still - I'd love it if the actual points could be displayed in a column to the right of the username, they get lost otherwise and the focus is as a result on thepercentages which do not make sense to the average user.

Some kind of explanation is needed for users on what the %s, points and levels refer to. Perhaps these could point to a page which has the details so a user can figure out how to up their points - of course this would need to be editable or defined in some way.

You've said in the past that a sample setup is not appropriate for this space, I strongly disagree. Please show us how to set up half a dozen rewards/levels/achievements and how they could interact. If you do not have time for this perhaps another user would be willing to oblige?

The postbit was blown out of all proportions when I added this to it - is there any way we could have just one or two items in the postbit? Ideally I'd like to remove the activity bar and just the points and the awards.

There is also a need to make the link on the main nav bar optional, or to be able to add it elsewhere - realestate on this bar is premium and I'd like to decide what goes there!

There is most definately a need for being able o set short term targets and goals, ie points within a given date range. I would imagine this could be a premium offering. I'd pay for that.

A comparison page for lite vs pro would be great ;) AT the moment I'm not sure if any given item is not showing because it's pro or because I've not set it up correctly

Storing stats over time, at least the top people and points is a must-have. Pro perhaps?

Integration - needs to be done with thank-you, blog posts, articles, avatars, profile pics, profile questions, albums.

Need to be able to exclude users - I own my forum so I earn most points, I shouldn't be the one getting the rewards!

I'm running this for a promotional period without rebuilding the points database. As such, not too sure what activity % refers to exactly. I note that there's a suggestion that this be according to the most active user, or perhaps it's according to the average user - this would make most sense to me (providing it was most active actually active user). I'm concerned about when my promo period is over - do I rebuild then? Will I have stupid 5s then?

Don't get me wrong, it's a brilliant product - which is why I'm taking an active interest in getting my questions answered :)

There is most definately a need for being able o set short term targets and goals, ie points within a given date range. I would imagine this could be a premium offering. I'd pay for that. That's an interesting idea, one that could be expanded to make this quite a mod for competitions ;)

A comparison page for lite vs pro would be great ;) AT the moment I'm not sure if any given item is not showing because it's pro or because I've not set it up correctlyIt would be against vB.org rules to include this inside vBA itself, but we'll work on changing our website to reflect these differences in the future.

Storing stats over time, at least the top people and points is a must-have. Pro perhaps?Already a planned feature =)

Integration - needs to be done with thank-you, blog posts, articles, avatars, profile pics, profile questions, albums. This is also planned, we're just writing our own Thank You mod first ;)

I'm concerned about when my promo period is over - do I rebuild then? Will I have stupid 5s then?Upon first rebuild, where it reads all your past posts etc, you will indeed have stupid %s. We're going to work on a system to avoid this happening.
The activity target is rebuilt daily, and it takes the amount of points gained by users who gained more than X points in the past week (where X is a value you can set in the admincp options) divided by the number of users who gained more than X points in the past week.

This value then becomes 100% of the weekly activity target.
Divide by 7 to get 100% of the daily activity target.
Multiply by 4 to get 100% of the monthly activity target.

Don't get me wrong, it's a brilliant product - which is why I'm taking an active interest in getting my questions answered :)Not a prob, you give good suggestions =D

No deduction of points is currently possible, sorry :(

I have no idea if it can be integrated with that mod, but if you can change the points field in the user table, you can change it to dbtech_vbactivity_points and it should work :)

Please note that until the next version (due next month), spending points in a store will cause a user's level to drop - this is something that'll be remedied :)

Maybe I will start by adding the mod as it is and then add the "store" once you come up with the next version.

Another great way to make this give more points is adding a mod for arcade high scorers? This may already be possible, I am not sure?

I use helpful answers, but I have it set so that helpful answers counts toward rep, so that should already be "intergrated" right?

DragonByte Tech
05-27-2010, 06:24 PM
vBA doesn't integrate with rep so no it won't be integrated by default. That is, unless they use the Data Manager to store reputation, which few mods do.

Arcade integration is coming in the future (if possible) - we've got more core updates to do before we can start integrating it with other mods :)

GONUMBER6

Glad to hear it. :)

Above it states "points for each point of reputation" in the list. Since I use helpful answers, and helpful answers is integrated with reputation, (I have it set up so that it gives 1 point for each helpful answer), then it should give points for helpful answers, right? I think?....

DragonByte Tech
05-27-2010, 09:07 PM
That applies for when people give eachother reputation using vBulletin's own reputation system.
It will support the Helpful Answers mod only if that mod was coded to add reputation in the same way vBulletin adds reputation.

Great it is installed and working with the points market system. :)

Would be great if you issued points for creating blogs and getting blog comments as well. Probably the #1 thing it is missing.

Is there any mod similar to helpful posts that will work with vbactivity? Most of my users use that feature instead of rep (easier to see I guess....)

***update. I created an achievement but it is not displaying in the profile or the postbit. Am I missing something? I have created one achievement for <= 10 friends, and I have more than 10, and I see no achievement.

I am wondering if I need to add something to the last line of the creation which states:

Additional Criteria : 0

****another question: Can you change the name of the "points" to something else? Like cash, bucks, ect?
