I host a forum for seniors and I want to imbed a simple player in threads to offer audio and video stored on my host's site. Its got to be simple.
I believe Silverlight will fit the bill.
Is there such a player avalable that a poster can imbed in a post?

I'm unaware of such a mod. There's an mp3 player, and video embeds that will work with online sites. Seems with all the free web video hosting these days nobody wants to store a lot of them on our own servers any more.
Also, is Silverlight the best cross-platform solution?

I think its pretty good.
I used it as a consumer last year when I was able to stream all my Beyond TV recorded SD and HD videos while I was in France for two months.
Beyond TV limits the Silverlight connections to one, so I can't stream it through BTV.
Oh well, I thought this would be available somewhere.
Thanks,
Nick
