Let members turn on/off lightbox?

Is there a mod to allow members to decide if they want to use the Lightbox feature for viewing attachments?

I just upgraded to 3.8.4 and a few members are saying the new lightbox is very slow for them.

I do not know of a mod. I'd make a User Profile Field and toggle the option Marco just pointed out in a plugin.
