I've been trying to figure it out. Using Web Dev for FF, all the grids are in vbcms_content , in the CSS templates. It uses a stylevar left, which I've tried changing to center and right but it doesn't seem to change anything.
Problem being, the content(or the grids) seem to align to the left, leaving a bigger gap on the right side. I'm just trying to make it even on both sides.

Here is a pic, problem being I can't find any place to reduce the padding/margin and to center the area so it's the same on both sides.

do you have a link to your site .
Here is a pic, problem being I can't find any place to reduce the padding/margin and to center the area so it's the same on both sides.

Flatten your grid. This will allow to edit it. (AdminCP/Grids Manager/DropDown Controls/Flatten Grid).
Now we have 2 edit windows, we'll work on the second one.
I'm figure out that your grid is a 2 columns 75/25 based one, so the code is something like this:<div id="doc3">
<div id="bd">
<div class="yui-ge">
<div class="yui-u first yui-panel">
<ul class="list_no_decoration" id="widgetlist_column1">$column[1]</ul>
</div>
<div class="yui-u yui-panel">
<ul class="list_no_decoration" id="widgetlist_column2">$column[2]</ul>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
So if you want to increase the left margin of your first column 10 pixels more, we'll add this little red thing on this line:
<ul class="list_no_decoration" id="widgetlist_column1" style="margin-left: 10px">$column[1]</ul>
Save and take a look.If you need to decrease margins use negative values, and if you need to alter right margins use "margin-right: value" instead.
Hope this helps you.
