#Installation:

1. Go to Admin CP > vBulletin CMS > Widgets > create new widget
2. Widget type > Static HTML > Title > Music Description > Show random members
3. Click save
4. Then click configure and put the code below

5. Add widget to your current layout. Admincp > Styles and(Or your forum blocks)


How to change the size of it:
Turn it to any size you want: Change the width and the height to your needs.

Hey this looks cool. How would you go about integrating this into the forum portion as opposed to the CMS area? I'm trying it out as a widget right now, but would want to add it to the forum area of my page. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Oh and by chance can users of the forum edit the music? Or does it play pretty much my selection of music only ie everyone would have to listen to the same thing?

The way I use it for my site is actually not in the form of CMS or forum widget. I implemented a toolbar that stretches across the top and users click on the blue music symbol which launches a pop-up that can be play music while browsing the forums uninterupted of pauses etc.

Feel free to suggest any songs, and I'll add them

Also in the demo, "the submit a song" button is not in the actual modification. That's just an html add on for my users.

Because the author went quiet on the net... here is the deal on this...

This mod is really only about the widget template for static HTML.

If you create a personal account on Playlist.com and develop a playlist within, you see a button that says EMBED... it creates all of the configuration code to link directly to your playlist. This includes size, color, play immediately or wait, randomize, etc.

Just copy that code and paste it into the widget configuration. You may have to adjust sizing to the authors recommended size which works well for me.

You can get this in over 7 colors and use different songs if you want to by creating a playlist at playlist.com

I can't seem to change the size.. When I change the value of width nothing seems to change.

EDIT: Ok nvm I have that figured out.. But I would like to use the stock playlist just not have it automatically play. Anyway to turn off the auto play for the stock play list?

shame it's only for USA citizens....it's useless for us here in the UK!

We found a simple way to make it work ..but once we did we found it to be annoying to users as it blast them out of their headsets it should be off and the user able to turn it on instead of the other way around... way to much volume on start up ...just our opinion

this is kool but why didnt you post the toolbar option , music stops when you go to anouther thread or whatever :eek:
