My forum is brand new, it is a forum for audio books. Audio books are simply narrated books.
Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks
Pete :)

Why are your forums located in /wordpress/forums? Why not just have them in /public_html/forums?
Your extra tabs hack is not laid out right at the top, the forum tab covers the search box.

My site was originally made up of mainsite and then added wordpress so it then became
mainsite/wordpress
I then copied everything from the main site to wordpress and redirected all the original pages using 301 redirects.
I simply installed VBulletin into the wordpress/forum subfolder to keep it seperate.

I am not seeing the same problem in any of my browsers, which browser are you using and in which resolution?

Wow what a cluster...
why didn't you have wordpress just under your main site ( /public_html/) then? That way you could have done
site/forums
site/
Site/reviews
site/soandso
Ya heard me? :)
Yeah and just remove some of those tabs. You don't need them any ways....RSS?..sitemap?... huh...Those just don't need to be there..I run high resolution and only use half my large screen and it is over lapping.

Yep I should have and could have done that. :(
I have deleted most of the tabs, can some one tell me if it now displays ok?

The tabs are better laid now.
And I concur with what Kevin said. There's just no need to put a forum inside the wordpress directory.

Perhaps you could post some links to show some sites that you would rate highly?

well not to brag about my site , but i really like it www.vbdesigners.com/forums/ i dont use it much ( at the moment ) im working on vB4 skin , coming along well.... if you browse my reviews here at vb.org , i gave some peeps some really good reviews , i like "uniqueness" , i really do ... and well, they did have a good website , but see... although a good looking website is good... content IS king...
PS: i do like your sites concept , i own couple of audio books from , audible :).

I agree that having something that is visually appealing shows professionalism and credibility if done tastfully. The problem is everyone has different taste, It has been shown that the more simple clean designs whether it be a forum or a website perform better then sites that are more complex.
Either way I do not have the time to get to involved with visuals at the moment as my priority needs to be traffic. Later on though I will review the situation)
I appreciate your comments and opinions )
