Hello,

I have a strange issue one of my customers posted on our bug tracker this morning:

The vbcms_article_image_thumbnail_maxSize is being ignored on the main front page but is working correctly when you want to read more of that article. The issue there for front page only.

Some picture to go with:

And now when you want to read the full article

Linked to wrong stylevar

Can someone please help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Any help please? Same thing happens with vbcms_article_preview_image_maxSize:

I also experience ignorance of vbcms_article_image_thumbnail_maxSize.
The trouble you have is that vB scales it to 300x???px no matter what you set.
In the article however, it shows the original image, not the thumb.

Keep in mind, that if you alter the setting, you have to regenerate thumbnails.
(This is extremely fun for me, with ~45.000 attachments)

Turns out the setting vbcms_article_image_thumbnail_maxSize was killed a year ago...
But I just found a solution to it :)

under options/content managment..
It says "Use Thumbnails in Preview (Set this to yes to switch the article previews to use image thumbnails rather than resizing the full images.) YES / NO"

Turn OFF, and all problems solved.
