What does this Mod do?

* It's a simple java based Social Networking Toolbar integration for vbulletin .. it uses a toolbar that works like other toolbars (Facebook/Wibya/Myspace) and is designed by a third party company.

Instructions:

* In order to use the toolbar you must first register at the Skysa (http://www.skysa.com) Website and get your Toolbar Serial ID:

* Copy the Serial ID into the Skysa Toolbar Options within the Vbulletin Options within your Admin Cp.

Hmmm just abit confused, it's a late night here in Australia. When I click on the Member IM I expect to see a list of the current members online but all I see is "You and Go Offline" options.

Database is Automatically Linked and Parsed into the script..

It is already integrated within the Product so I would say you forum with two names to see if they are on the messenger list?

But I just took a look at your page and you have your Vbulletin within the Root folder of your website and not a Forum Folder so I taken, Now the error you are finding is in the Red highlights here:

Ok I updated the MOD log at the top hopefully that helps..

I have designed the bar to match the site.. with my own ICONS and Artwork and Color Schemes..

I also added the Navigation app on the left side of the bar with the Welt Muzik Logo so there is a Navigation Menu pop out sort like Windows Start Menu and each link is a .php page within my Forum.

It is a very unique bar and above you can see the widgets Above and I currently am working on an Updated Version of the script where "Unregistered Users" will not be able appear logged into the bar or be able to message Online Members.

SO just keep checking back for updates..

Ps: I am also going to be trying to design a whole logged program which allows the user to state what directory the forum is in like you were having so just like when you install vbulletin and it asks for your "Root" and then "Forum" It will do the same that way noone will have to download more than one script it will be incorporated.

I would also like to add Social and Usergroup access so if you are in a certain Social Group it has a seperate column for your Social group members or vise versa with User Group..

I know you it is also possible to change your own .CSS file to auto change colors to match the User/Members choice of which Template they Select.

I have many ideas for the full Release .. the only problem that i am having is the whole Javascript buisness .. i am new to Javascript well lol I am a Game Design major that knows a bunch of coding yet is just starting to improve my web design haha and VB!

Ok I will try to figure out how to incorporate that into the user configuration..

But its more of a universal toolbar..

Like I have on my www.welmuzik.com/forum site I have a navigation bar built in on the left like a start menu..

Check it out if you know what I mean..

But yes I am slowly adding more user friendly configuration within the product for the actual release..

I am still new to all this lol..

Also the Who's Online Button Is an Im feature like AIM/ICQ as well kinda like Comet Chat ingeration.

So its not just a list of who is online its a live messenger.

A bit of an update..

I am still working on the user groups permissions for this product.. which in my case is not useless to have but i myself wont feel the need for it except to stop unregistered users from access to the messenger and chatroom.. as for other options I have figured a way to add friends list into the chat so you can have a seperate list of friends in the chatroom and messenger.. I will release this in the next update after I figure out how to make the user list only show friends if you want or at least minimize the online users list within the list sorta like Aim, yahoo and MSN...

You mean the toolbar is larger than your template or does the toolbar make your template change from its original form?

and what is the link to you forum so i can see the size changes... it might not be the product itself it might be that your template has the code set within your forums footer code where the destination for the products code is sent within your footer..

either way let me know the exact details so I can help.. i might be able to change the product for you personally.. :)

Simple mod to this....

I only wanted this to load one one page rather than every page and each time I read a thread....so I changed this below in the Skysa Toolbar/Global_start plugin, I removed all text and replaced with this....

index being the main page you want it to load on, rename that to whatever you want if you need it to load elsewhere.

looks like a great add on but everytime i enable this i get this error message "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in forumroot/public_html/forums/global.php(834) : eval()'d code on line 41"

The above only grabs the image if the image is stored in the database. What if the vbulletin users are using the filesystem method?

I see we have a posting, or two, about how to modify this hack's Global Start plugin in order to display the toolbar on certain pages. However, I want to display it on all pages of the site...except for the Who's Online page.

So...instead of modifying the code to include every page I want it displayed on...can someone show me how to modify the code to just exclude the online.php page?

My website uses "forums" not "forum". What changes do I need to make besides this:

I found an easy way to use Skysa and vb4. This works for us as we have no ads or banners at the bottom of the page.

Admincp > advertising > add new add.

Now if you want it just on the forums you can select forum and use the Below Threadlist area.

If you want it all over - select global and use the Above Footer area.

We got this code from Skysa when we signed up for the bar.
