My site uses a dark theme, the wysiwyg editor's background is black and so is the text. I would like to change the text to white, how can I do this? I've tried to edit the main.css, but that doesn't work, apparently it's obsolete.

can anyone help?

Try playing with these (change colors) - add them to additional.css:
/* color of text in textarea for editors */
body.wysiwyg {color: pink;}
.editor_textbox textarea, .editor_textbox iframe {color: green;}

I have the same problem, after adding in the changes to additional.css and save/reload nothing changed. It's nearly impossible to see the text when you are typing in the editor window.
Can you guys help me out?

Here's a screen shot of the text color, can barely see what you're typing. I wouldn't mind if the background of the window was white... just want my users to see what they are typing.

This is an old thread not related to the ckeditor. I suggest doing a search on ckeditor and you will find more recent threads that discuss css changes you can do.
