Hi, about a couple of days into my first Vbulletin site and I have hit a snag.
Can anyone point me in the direction of how to add text to the forum sections, I have tried searching but found nothing....it would be very appreciated.
So just to clarify, where you have a group of sub forums, there is a solid bar above the group and I can find how to do it.
If you look on this forum home https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/index.php its the title that says: News And Announcements

You need to create a parent forum and set the 'Act as Forum' and the 'Forum is Open' option to No.

Sorry, got a couple more little niggles, then I am set to launch
1. In a thread, the text body has a padding to the right of 300px which seems to be reserved for some sort of advert. What is the easiest way to remove this as i am not wanting to put ads in the threads.
2. When you get a Private Mail, i want a pop up rather than a number in the Notifications list, is there a setting/control for this?
3. When inserting an image in a thread or reply, it requires a url, can I add an image upload facility within the thread?
Thanks guys

Managed to find the attachments so I can insert images now, but its not very easy to be honest, so a better route is preferable, any ideas?
The PM i have found that it does pop up by default, it was my pop up blocker overriding it.
Still stuck on item 1. above, anyone?
Thanks in advance.

If not all posts do it, #1 is a bug that has been fixed in 402. Or maybe you put in a block and forgot about it. I don't know, but try turning off the sidebar entirely in Options>Forum Sidebar and Block Options
#2 - no, but I've seen mods for it. Don't go adding mods until you're sure things are working right.
