View Full Version : Integration with vBulletin - [obsolete!] vbMediaWiki 4.0.2 RC 3
This version is obsolete:
New version:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/misc.php?do=producthelp&pid=vbmediawiki_vector
How does the Integration look like:
Search integration:
The MediaWiki content is implemented as a new content type into the vBulletin search
system. Search results are shown together with the results from the Forum, Blog, CMS
search. Indexing is all done exactly the same way as the original vBulletin content types.
http://www.bepe80.com/img/wiki_searchresult.png
Advanced Search:
Search the indexed MediaWiki pages with advanced search
options like title only, by user, by date and sort the results.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/
'What's New' Integration:
Showing a list of the last Wiki pages that where created or edited. The list is
created directly from the Wiki database and does not rely on the vBulletin index.
http://www.bepe80.com/img/wiki_newwikis.png
'Who's Online' integration:
Showing the actual title with link.
Different pharses for Viewing, Editing, History of a MediaWiki page.
http://www.bepe80.com/img/wiki_wol.png
Permissions Settings:
Are done per Usergroup: Admin Control Panel -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit
Interesting might be the "Minimum of required posts" for editing Wiki pages;
It will reduce write access to active forum members.
http://www.bepe80.com/img/wiki_perms.png
User Stats:
Additional stats about how many pages a user edited or created.
Forum -> Member List -> {?User} -> About Me
http://www.bepe80.com/img/wiki_user.png
Integrated Skin:
The vBMediaWiki Skin that is completely integrated into the forum
- Wiki tab on the NavBar
- Personal Wiki Links under the NavBar
- NavBits showing the location
- Content inside the page
http://www.bepe80.com/img/wiki_full.png
Original skins are still working, just some links are different and there is a new "forum" link at the top so the user can go back
After the user logged in he can decide himself if he wants to use the integrated skin or another one
Login:
Single Sign On over the forum.

Awesome, thanks for the great product
please remember that this is an alpha build and that there is much work to be done to get it all working really stable.
Reason that I released it this way is because I need ppl interested in testing it and ppl that will report any bugs and problems

Tagged + https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2012/01/12.gif
Running a public server is always a Security Issue...
Just joking :P
... How does it work?
1. The user is doing a login via vBulletin, I did not temper with that whole login thing there... so it is as save as VB made it.
2. On access MW checks if a user is logged into VB
If yes, then it also logs in the user with the same name to MW... it creates a new MW user if the user does not exist yet (most likely that is, because it's the first login)
Important: WM does NOT change the VB user... it's only checking if someone is online in VB and the rights he has to access the wiki, then it is only using its own users
3. I did my best to make it secure ... I want to run it on my forum too when it is done :)
Anyway, I really don?t think it's causing any Security Issue... but if it would, then it's more likely that WM is compromised... but not VB... I hope that makes u feel better now :)
This mod is awesome I can't wait for full release. Can you make it so it inherits forum style?
the forum style should be inherited; for more complex styles changing the whole page layout... something like header is now footer or so... you would need to change the MEDIAWIKI template
The content of MW is looking like the original media wiki... I think that is good, ppl should see that we are using the original one :) ... anyway, you can change the wiki skin by hand or by editing the css
... but it's almost impossible to make the content of the MW look 100% like the content of VB... Sorry if u meant that ... anyway, both skins are playing nice together
About impossible... make it fit to all possible skins is impossible... sure it is possible if you adapt the one skin u are using to the media wiki... ok... basically everything is possible, it's just a matter of time

Thank you :)
About the version, I'm using the latest one "1.15.1"... right forgot to mention that
Additional features... almost everything looks possible... we just need some good ideas :)
Someday... perhaps... things like this:
When searching the forum there should be wiki links in the result page
- If the article exists to the article else link to create the wiki article
Scan posts on the forum for wiki titles and make them linked
You should know this from the annoying advertising plugins... but the links to the wiki should not me annoying :) they might be really useful to the reader, so it makes sense
Add new wiki pages to the "What's new"
and so on...
All that is for involving the user more into the wiki and linking the wiki so that it becomes more interesting

Fantastic mod btw.
Just one problem. Using vb4.0.1 and mediawiki v1.5.1. I have the wiki installed as a sub directory of the vb4 install so its reachable from /wiki alone and so far have your mod allowing users to use their vb login on the wiki no problem. Only issue is the vbmediawiki skin. For some reason the default mediawiki skins work fine but if I set it to vbmediawiki or preview it with the user preferences in mediawiki I get some random garbage output.
I've just attached a image of what I'm talking about, I've also tried redownloading the files and reinstalling your skin for mediawiki. I'm happy to use the normal skins however it would be good to know if its something I could have done wrong or otherwise.
Cheers

Hmm... that I've feared... a problem that I can not recreate :$
ok, this is my config right now:
VB installed to D:/www/ ... (is root of http://localhost/)
MW installed to D:/www/wiki ... (is http://localhost/wiki)
so I've added this two lines to LocalSettings.php:
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '..' );

I'm really sorry, I cannot recreate that problem :$
... I'm very new to that whole PHP stuff; usually I'm a C++ developer who decided to need a forum with a wiki integrated, so I've never seen something like that output before
We need to wait if some other users will have that same problem too, then we can search for similarities and I'll be happy to fix it

Thats cool, for the most part your mod does what we need, the skin isn't a big deal and as a C++ dev myself appreciate where you're coming from. It could be something unique to the system we're running so if it turns out I'm the only one with this problem then its no biggy.
I'll quiz some php people I know who might be able to shine some light and relay anything that's helpful. Till then keep up the good work :up:
plz add paypal for donations

there set "HTML Character Set" to: utf-8
About the logo... I think you mean why it is not there if using the integrated skin
... I thought we would not need it, but you are right, some ppl might want it. I'll try to make an option for it
the Login is done over vBulletin, that is why it was removed

Question about paths:
Wiki is located at www.mywiki.com (..httpdocs/www/clients/wiki/w)
vB is located in www.myvBulletin.com/forum (..httpdocs/www/clients/forum)
Located both on the same server , but different TLD's point to different folders on the server.
Is it possible to use the vBMediawiki in this configuration ? If yes - which paths to use ?
Thanks :)
ok... I give up on it for now... the wiki does not suport ISO-8859-1 anymore, so no way to set it.
only way is to switch the forum to UTF-8, but then u need to convert all the posts too... not sure if there is a tool for that... sorry

ow my god... that are questions... needed to Google TLD to find that it is Top-Level-Domain :D ... sorry, I'm really new to this stuff
It made your question sound so complex somehow :)
Anyway, both are on the same server, so just set the wiki path to: "http://www.mywiki.com"
The forum path can be relative to the server.. Something like: "../wiki/w" or even full path "..httpdocs/www/clients/wiki/w"
But I did not try it yet... so can not tell for sure if it is working

Same issue for me. My settings are below
Forums = www.url.com
wiki = www.url.com/gawiki
LocalSettings.php
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '/home/gadrama/public_html' );
require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" );
VB options Settings = /gawiki
The wiki works fine as long as your skin is not selected. Once I preview your skin so that it will integrate with the forums.. it just produces the gibberish below:

That has nothing to do with this mod. If you want paypal donations get the appropriate modification for vB (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233669).
bepe - I'm watching this with great interest as well. Along with the CMS in vB4 this would go a long way to helping my community.
Regarding the gibberish above, that looks like binary output (ie, a jpg is being generated or something). What headers are being sent to the browser?

it is in the root directory of your mediawiki install. If you have just installed mediawiki and configured it using the script..you will need to move it from mediawikiroot/config to the root of the wiki dir.

Yes, think so too... forum and a wiki are two things that belong together. I want to make a forum for smartphones, produced by HTC, running Windows Mobile or Android ... that is my real playground there :) ... it's really fun, HTC releases a new device, then we need to hack the protection (on iPhone that is called jail break I think)... after that we can start cooking roms for that device, change languages and more... as I said, my playground :)
Anyway, now I need a forum, and wiki is really essential, because it's all about getting information about the devices, about different hacks, and so on...
Regarding the gibberish above, that looks like binary output (ie, a jpg is being generated or something). What headers are being sent to the browser?
yes, thought so too... but it is not... now I?m almost sure, that it is an charset problem

Brilliant piece of work. Thank you very much.
A couple of issues though;
1) My wiki image files in articles have disappeared. Re-uploading them seems to be the only answer. e.g I have a wiki article on golf with an image of a golf course. The image isn't displaying (though it is in the file list) and therefore I've had to re-upload it. Perhaps there is a path problem somewhere?
2) Removing both instances of $wgContLang->ucfirst( $name ) from the user.php file causes blank wiki pages. I re-inserted them and all is okay. Are your instructions clear on this issue?
Once again thank you for an awesome product. Can't wait for the Gold version but will help you in reporting any other issues I come across.

Thanks for your amazingly quick response CoreyHawk.
Just checking:
Install Instructions:
STEP 1: Upload the contents of the "wiki_upload" directory into your wiki root directory.
Done that. I uploaded the contents of the file 'wiki_upload' to the root of my installation. See attachment to view the files I planted into the root, except, of course, the product and the readme file.
I did NOT place the file wholly into my root; there's currently no file called 'wiki_upload' in my root present.
Then:
Add this line to the very end of your LocalSettings.php:
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '/var/www/html/forum' );
require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" );
VB_INSTALL_PATH should be the full filesystem path to your vBulletin installation. Ensure you do not add a trailing slash!
This is where I am getting stuck.
I haven't proceeded yet - the product itself has not been installed therefore.
Appreciate your assistance and wisdom mate!

... if you select the monoblock skin, are the images back?
2) hm... no, not just delete the lines, do it like this:
if ( $name == ''

|| strlen( $name ) > $wgMaxNameChars
|| $name != $wgContLang->ucfirst( $name ) ) {

wfDebugLog( 'username', __METHOD__ .

and this:
# Force usernames to capital
global $wgContLang;
$name = $wgContLang->ucfirst( $name );
# Reject names containing '#'; these will be cleaned up
# with title normalisation, but then it's too late to
# check elsewhere
if( strpos( $name, '#' ) !== false )

I am looking for LocalSettings.php within the mod's unzipped pack AND looked for it within my current file structure on the server.
If the file is supposed to be included in the download pack; it's not there.
Maybe I am still a bit too backward for this after five years working with vB.
Appreciate your assistance though.

For those with problems finding LocalSettings.php, keep in mind that you already need MediaWiki installed before installing this.
Available for 3.8.x?
No, sorry... I'm only working with v4
Bepe, it's www.gblcg.com and www.gblcg.com/wiki
Is that what you wanted to know?
yes, it is
admin panel set for wiki path: ./wiki
and then set this inside LocalSettings.php:
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '..' );
Uninstalled.. deleted... Re-uploaded and reinstalled...
Same thing.

Too bad :(
but THANK YOU VERRY MUCH! ... for the link, now I'm able to see it :)
I downloaded the content and opened it with a hexeditor:
1F 8B 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF D5 ....
"1F 8B" is the start of a gzip compressed file! ... so the problem is related to compression
... try to disable it on the server somehow... I know that is no solution... but would be interesting to know if that would fix it
... then I can look into it, it is strange that it is only happening with the integrated skin... so it must be my fault :$
awesome. this is a great hack!! replaces 3 hacks i have to use right now... will migrate to this once a couple of more revs are out (if i can wait that long).
btw, looks like you are hardcoding the path to the wiki for the navbar template? i use a different path, so just checking.
from the xml file:
<a class="navtab" href="../wiki">Wiki</a>
ndahiya
Thank you! ... was a mistake, fixed it for the next version
(Link was the one for the selected version of the wiki tab... so if you click on wiki tab two times it would link always to ./wiki)

I think I did it!!! :)
The charset problems should be gone as of beta 2 ... I've learned much this day :)
Please report if all is working now...
I've already tested espaniol wiki and it is working fine with forum set to "ISO-8859-1"
*HAPPY*
I'm converting the wiki content to the forum charset now.
... sure it is better not to convert it, so if possible set the forum to UTF-8

Hi bepe, thanks for your reply. I had, sometime ago, set up single-sign-on with mediawiki on a separate subdomain using NeoJeko's hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=213102). I am still running vb 3.8.1 Following are the links:
forum: www.urduweb.org/mehfil (http://www.urduweb.org/mehfil)
wiki : wiki.urduweb.org
In this post (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1847060&postcount=50) NeoJeko notes that..
For the rifeforum.com/rifeforum.org use case, you cannot achieve SSO using this hack across two different domains. It's just how it works - the cookies are not readable across domains. You will need some sort of federated authorization token to achieve this (i.e. SAML tokens or OpenID).
I just hope that you are able to come up with a solution for that too.

It is a compression issue. When setting the Admin CP >> Cookies and HTTP Headers >> GZIP Compression = 0 (Disabling it.. was previously 1) it worked.
Changes:
4.0.1.3 B3:
- product-vbmediawiki.xml Fixed one link to MediaWiki that was hard coded by accident
- vbMediaWiki.php Fixed charset for navbit links
- vbMediaWiki.php Fixed charset for page title
- product-vbmediawiki.xml Fixed charset for page title
- AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php Possible fix for missing html header
gzip might still need to be disabled ... or perhaps it was header related... no idea
please report new bugs and if other bugs where fixed... I dont have most of the problems on my PC

Conflict:
Mediawiki = UTF-8
vBulletin = ISO-8859-1
It is a big problem...
yes, it is!!
best way is to set the forum to utf-8 too... but that is only possible if you make a fresh install of the forum else you will mess up all posts that where done already
my solution is that I render all wiki text into a variable now; then if needed I convert the charset to the same one as the forum
... if needed means: if the forum is not set to utf-8
this way should be working fine, just having some problems with the html headers now :$ ... or perhaps had problems ... lets see :)

Great Mod, Really like it, Been looking to add a Wiki for a long time
I've installed mediawiki and this mod this morning, all was going fine until i switched to the vbskin and now i cant access the wiki at all as i just get a white page, any ideas how i can reset to use the default wiki skin??
Edit: It is just with my username, if i goto the wiki as not logged in or logged in as another user its ok...
Also, do you need to be logged into vb before going in MW?
thincom2000
02-11-2010, 04:11 PM
Can you still access the forum, or is it also a white page?
If the forum is also affected, it's possible that, when switching back, your username implicitly saved a style that does not exist as the default selection. You may be able to fix this by modifying the user via the AdminCP and selecting a valid style from the "Style" setting (right pane) for that user.
You may still have problems if the user's session is still in the database, so you probably want to wait the 15 minutes from your last attempt, or manually remove the record from the database first.

Mondi..
It looks like you haven't even installed MediaWiki yet. Going to your wiki takes you to the install script. You need to setup MediaWiki before you try to integrate the two.
Follow the setup.. entering in the database info etc... once complete.. move the LocalSettings.php file in the wiki/config dir to the wiki root.
Add the code this to the bottom of it...
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '/home/domain.com/public_html' );
require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" );
Import the latest product file.. and you should be good to go.

Bepe, CoreyHawk - When invoking the nav link 'Wiki' I am routed successfully to the wiki installation, which did complete as far as I can see - c here: http://gblcg.com [then click 'Wiki' on navbar.]
This seems to work WITHOUT adding the two lines to LocalSettings.php as advised above. Something peculiar happens when these two lines ARE added; the process opens a dialogue box which requests approval for the download of 'index.php'
When allowed the file opens [in Dreamweaver for me].

Perfect Solution:

There set "HTML Character Set" to: utf-8
this solution is bring huge problem :( , coz ? ? ? ? getting ?

Install VB as u are used to and also install MW on the sever. Both should be running independend and both should use it's own DB.
Then install this mod and set it up right.
When it is installed you will see an wiki tab in VB, when u click it you will see the content of the wiki in the form content area and the user that is logged into VB is also logged into the wiki

define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '/var/www/knoefel.tk/subdomains/forum/httpdocs' );
require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" );
Mediawiki Path: http://wiki.knoefel.tk
There are also problems with login but hopefully this will be fixed by solving the first problem here.
Thanks in advance!
Other domains (even sub domains) are not supported yet, sorry

Thanks for your quick help:)
Now i moved the Wiki to
http://forum.xxx.tk/wiki
Mediawiki Path: ./wiki
LocalSettings.php:
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '..' );
require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" );
also changed
$wgScriptPath = "/wiki";
Now the content is lost and the page looks wired.
Without the mediaWikiSettings in LocalSettings.php the Wiki is correct if i delete the two lines.
Any ideas?!

bepe,
i have the previous mediawiki single signon integration (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=213102 ).
it works fine with the differently capitalized usernames (ie, converts usernames in mediawiki with first letter capitalized).
so have shared connects already. by installing this mod, will the existing linkage be broken (ie, would a new username be recreated?) can you not edit this similar to the previous mod, so that the capitalization of the usernames does not make a diff.
in vbulletin, the field is not case specific, so ABCD, Abcd, abcd are the evaluated as the same username. not so in mediawiki.

Concerning my previous error (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1981064&postcount=139) i recognized that the URL is after embedding the addon in long version like
http:// www.mydomain.com/wiki/index.php?title=Hauptseite
and not
http:// www.mydomain.com/wiki/index.php/Hauptseite
like it was before in my Mediawiki. I can reach all pages by adding the simple URL. Adding the long URL in the Browser it jumps back on main page.
Can somebody tell me where to switch between long and simplified URL in Mediawiki as i cannot find the configuration parameter.
Maybe this would solve my problem.

if you dont change the user.php, then it should behave like the single signon
great. so the existing linkages will work and future linkages will too?
does not changing user.php break anything else in the mod?
then, you might want to make the changes to user.php optional.

yes, it's optional ... anyway, if I use my alias 'bepe' I always want it to be lowercase; if I have 'bepe' in VB and 'Bepe' in MW it would be strange for me; more like it to be consistent
About if it will work or not... it should in theory, but I did not try it... so better you try it with some test forum first

Are there any plans to figure out ways to integrate with non-alphanumeric username charachters?
I dont mind doing code edits on the wiki, but I wish to refrain from editing all the usernames in my forum to fit spec.
I really wish to use this mod as I like the concept and layout integration it provides.

So far all fine... I've added a setting for the tab name to the admin panel and some small changes...
I really want to add search integration to VB... Like you search the forum for "xxx" and if the wiki contains an article called xxx it will show that in the result page at first place
... but what did VB think when the made this contentypes thing that is used for adding new contents to the search query... there is no docu and I think no one ever used it :(
let me try a bit more, then I decide if it can be done or not...

I just found an issue that may be causing your problem. Are your CSS Stylesheets stored as files? (check your Style & Language settings in ACP options). If Yes then you will have this problem I think. Change to No and no problem as far as I can see.
Note to Bepe: This is definitely a problem. If CSS Stylesheets are stored as files (as explained above) then you get the error as mentioned by AURFSCAN and Desiderius.

- only use in test environments for now!
- I included a wiki the "User.php" now... make sure u are using MediaWiki version: 1.15.1

Are u using 4.0.2 now?
... anyway, I can not think of anything in my mod that could cause that ...
Hi bepe, Im still on 4.0.1, not sure whether to goto 4.0.2 or wait for 4.0.3 because of all the new reported issues that 4.0.2 has introduced..
Hi bepe, Im still on 4.0.1, not sure whether to goto 4.0.2 or wait for 4.0.3 because of all the new reported issues that 4.0.2 has introduced..
Should not be a problem, they did not change something related to this product... or at least not something that would break my code
I will continue with 4.0.2 .. but I'm sure it will still work with 4.0.1

HI I have vbseo and rewrite urls on... so I have to drop a htaccess in /wiki to turn "rewrite off".
I noticed that after i had completed your install steps, it just didn't work... I'm going through it all again but do you think this could be an issue because of the rewrite rule?
Thanks!
p.s anyone with VBseo got this installed?

Not exactly sure what this does, I think it's more for setting the charset of the database, but not of the connection... anyway, it did not help
If needed I'm converting the strings to the forum charset now, should be fine
By default variable $config['Mysqli']['charset'] in /forum/config.php is commented. But in cases where the vBulletin encoding does not match with the MySQL default encoding, this variable must be uncommented and set to desired value (for example 'utf8', if MySQL uses the default latin1-swedish-ci).
Keep this in mind when vBMediaWiki's search module connecting to a database with direct function mysql_connect (сompare with the parameters db_connect, called from /forum/includes/class_core.php ). If $config['Mysqli']['charset'] exists, SQL inctruction "SET NAMES '<charset>'" must be executed after connecting to the database to set the properly encoding.

I have to tweak vBSEO rewrite rules to:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|vbseo_sitemap/|cron|wiki/)
RewriteRule ^((archive/)?(.*\.php(/.*)?))$ vbenterprisetranslator_seo.php [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap_).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap|wiki/)
RewriteRule ^((archive/)?(.*\.php(/.*)?))$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images|wiki)/
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]

The wiki works fine when not logged in, but when logged in it just gives a blank page, no error message or anything :(

I just created 2 define variables
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '../forum');
define( VB_INSTALL_URL, '' );
For what _URL ? for people that are using sef urls with mediawiki can get problems
so need change on vbMediaWiki.php
$base = VB_INSTALL_URL;

Hey,
So I downloaded and installed.
My CMS is installed to my domain root and my wiki is in a folder named alphanex.
LocalSettings.php
define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '..' );
require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" );
vBulletin MediaWiki: Options
Path: ./alphanex
Wiki gives error: Fatal error: Class 'MWException' not found in /hermes/web04/b1777/moo.benjaminlwells/alphanex/includes/User.php on line 29
Any thoughts?

Okay, so I'm not a developer but I am trying to integrate this product (which is amazing, thanks for working on this!). Where do I find the LocalSettings.php? Or, is this something I need to create?

I found the reason for the Template error and saving problem described in that post. (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1985921&postcount=176) I had to disable the php.ini Parameter magic_quotes_gpc.
After that i generated new Templates because my old ones disappeared if i switched to vbmediawiki. Then i was able to save them.
@bepe, maybe you have an idea why this parameter has to be switched off if using vbmediawiki?

If you get the Your edit has been rejected because your client mangled the punctuation characters in the edit token. The edit has been rejected to prevent corruption of the page text. This sometimes happens when you are using a buggy web-based anonymous proxy service.
when editing-saving a page
add this line to your .htaccess file
php_flag magic_quotes_gpc Off

You need to pass thru MediaWiki installation proccess and copy LocalSettings.php from ./config/ directory to the Wiki's root.

Ok, so I got it working after reinstalling MW and putting the hack back on, works great except for one thing.
For my test user account (that only has 1 post) I have the note at the top saying "You don't have enough posts to qualify as an active member of the community. Editing and creating Wiki pages is premitted only to active members! " I'm curious what the restriction is there, and how can I change/disable that?

I have installed this mod and made the necessary modifications, however whenever I go to the Wiki via the button or directly to the Wiki itself, I get redirected to my home page.
Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? (I have checked that the paths in the two settings are set up correctly)

If your full path (eg http://server.com/wiki does redirect you, it's perhaps a bad rewrite in one of the .htaccess)

I add it already to the Whats new button, but i think its more comfortable for the user to see everything with one click!

# Wiki search results are UTF8 and so are not shown right on non UTF8 boards (fixed for next release)
When do you think you might have the next release out?
Great mod !!, but unfortunally I don't get it to work. keeps saying:

The following .htaccess file is in the wiki dir and also in the forum dir
php_value upload_max_filesize 30M
php_value post_max_size 30M
AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php
php_flag magic_quotes_gpc Off
Is there anything else wrong ?
Please advise.

I switched off php_flag magic_quotes_gpc directly in php.ini not in .htaccess . Check sucess of your setting in Admincp>Maintenance>PHP Info. Local and Master Value is switched off for me.
Thanks, created a php.ini file with the settings and now it is working.

Noticed a bug in IE7 (and IE8) in compatability...
The Nav, top set of menu's, and footer (every wiki element but the acutal body) drop down the page... can be seen here - http://leicestertalk.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Not sure if it's connected to the plugin or not, but I have a basic MW installtaion, plus this plugin, and have been getting an error when I start typing in the MW search box:
DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
Bad Request
unknown function wfSajaxSearch
I googled it, and came up with it possibly having to do with an ajax search extension for MW, but I've installed no such thing. Tried $wgAjaxSearch = false; in my LocalSettings, but no joy. Anyone else bumping into this with this plugin?

Awesome mod, updated to RC thanks.
- Wiki tab on the NavBar
- Personal Wiki Links under the NavBar
The wiki is on the navbar however it is not selected or active while in the wiki, and the personal wiki links under the navbar are also missing, guessing due to the other problem.
Mod conflict perhaps?
