New posts?

Ok i'm lost on this one, how do i change the time on how long it displays new posts?

For some reason after i view the newest posts it still says there's new posts.

Several forums i visit as soon as i read a new post it goes away yet on mine it will still say new post for a while.

Any help is much appreciated.

What read-marking option do you have selected in your vBulletin Options?
