Hello,
I have strange problem. Some of my users complain they can't use forum even if they did before normaly, and if I want to go on the profile of this users I am geting message:
"This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view."
In ACP is everything normal, but in the forum it doesn't work.
Thank you in advance.

However about some example links of profiles that work and ones that give that error?

What has recently been done on this forum? Any tables restored? Mannually added users to the database? Any new modifications installed?

I had some mods installed but I realy don't know which one can make this problem. Do you have some list of " unwanted " mods?

Hi, do you make Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Fix broken user profiles? if not please try. Good Luck

No, no such lists exist.
That's the message you would normally get if you clicked on a profile link to someone who's posted as a Guest. Did you try looking for these user in the Admin CP, to see if they still exist?

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.
But i have the feeling that this is not caused by a modification. More likely an inconsistency in the database.

I have this exact problem and disabled all plug ins, disabled hooks via the config file, tried fixing broken user profiles, and did a db check and repair.
The only thing different is I just upgraded from 3.8.4 to 3.8.5

Also check your permissions. Are you sure that you are not allowing guests to post on your forums? I would check the Unregistered usergroup to make sure they do not have posting rights.
