I have an issue when I add a new tab to the navbar.

You'll see on my website i have the Darkness template when you go to the main page.
http://www.galaxyofstars.co.uk this is the same for the forum and blogs page etc.

However, when i add new tabs such as the arcade and donate tabs, the background template disappears.

I have also noticed when this happens that the logout, settings, profile etc options right at the top are not clickable.

Can anyone explain why this happens to page's where I have added new tabs?

Or is it to do with the fact it's a new page? i.e. arcade.php or donate.php

Whatever it is, any ideas how I can fix it?

Which mod did you use to create the tabs? You need to ask your question in that modification thread.

Well firstly should the tab really be the issue? What if I bypass the tab and type in the page direct.... http://www.galaxyofstars.co.uk/arcade.php ?It still has the issue without going via the tab?

Anyway I used 2 different tab Mods and both had the same result. I also followed instructions to add a tab manually myself and it still had the same problem.

So is it really the tabs?

Let me put it this way. If i remove the tab mods completely, then go to the page direct it still has the same issue. So it can't really be the tabs i don't think.

Just because you bypass clicking on the tab it doesn't mean you have cut that bit out, it just means you manually typed in the address yourself. It's still loading up the same page!! There must be some code missing somewhere. Are all the mods you have installed compatible with vB4 and vB4CMS?

I could try disabling all the mods and seeing what happens.

It was ok until after I upgraded the vBsuite to 4.0.1 or the Skin to 4.0.1. I'm not sure at which point it went wrong. it was working ok before that.

I disable all plugins and i got the same result.

Try this:
Create a new style with no parent:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
SaveThen browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

As for "Well firstly should the tab really be the issue?"..... you, yourself, said it was because of the tabs. You implied in the first post that if you add a tab, you have the problem:

No i don't have the problem anymore. So that concludes it's an issue with the style I use?

Yeah sorry, I realised after I posted it that it was linked to the tabs, it just happened to happen on pages that i created tabs for.
