PM count not displaying right

I had a mild snafu with a patch which I fixed but since then on my forum it says "Private Messages: Unread , Total 555" instead of "Private Messages: Unread 2, Total 555"

Why is the 2 missing? What have I done?

To provide a little more detail I uploaded the wrong patch and overwrote the wrong files. I fixed it buy reinstalling but keeping my original config file. So my forum works fine right now except for this one thing.

You reinstalled, but did you re-upload the files you accidentally overwrote incorrectly? Likely, that's all you needed to do.

I don't know where to get those files. I assumed they were overwritten with good versions during the re-install, which is why I did the re-install. Maybe I'll try again.

Only if you uploaded all the core files when you reinstalled. You get from the same place you got them to begin with.

I just re-uploaded EVERYTHING and it still doesn't work.

I uploaded EVERYTHING and re-ran the upgrade and now it is fixed. Thank you!!!!!
