sort memberlist by customised fields

I created some extra fields from the admincp in the "add new user profile field" section and then from settings>user listing options, i chose them (by clicking on customised fields) to appear in the community>memberlist. However, i cannot sort the members using the customised fields, this is possible only for the default vbulletin fields.

is there a solution to that?
