I was looking for a mod that when a admin makes or locks a thread no one can reply to it.

Isn't this default in vB anyway? Except that only Admins / Super Mods can still post.

Not that I am aware of.

If it doesn't do that, it sounds more like a bug..

It was like this in vb3.x too so I not think it is a bug.

There's a mod for 3.8.x that works perfectly, should ask if he'll update it.

Still looking for this mod if someone would be kind enough to make please and to add to it. It would be nice that a mod or super mod can't edit posts either.

Thanks

You're asking for someone to make you a mod for a feature that already exists as default on the forum?

When someone locks a thread nobody except for admins or mods can reply to it. What is so hard for you to understand about this? Just lock the thread that your admin makes and then tell your mods not to reply to it.

Wow thank you, you are so smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I shouldn't have to do that and I am not the only vbulletin user wanting this either and it isn't default. I don't want no one editing my posts or unlocking what I lock. Forgive me for wanting something even if it doesn't interest you.

As told to you in post #2 and post #6 nobody can reply to a locked thread unless they are an admin or mod. That is a default feature in vBulletin.

If your problem is that you can't control your moderators who keep replying or editing locked threads and you're incapable of getting them to stop then there is a mod that might help you with this. It's built for 3.8 though and requires a small modification before it can work on 4.0.
