Hello,

I added this code to a page:
<td width="208" bgcolor="#0d150f" background="images/mainbg.png"><img src="images/mainbg.png" width="208" height="1037"></td>However, the content on the page is moved to the right side and is a little bit smaller because that are stuck there. How can I change the code the make the image act as a background, meaning that the content on the page would be above the image?

Thanks.

You need to add the code to an existing part of the code. Tables will move the rest of the columns over to make room for that. put it in an existing TD or a DIV code.

Looking at the code add the following to the template where you added the current TD.

Find the following
<td style="padding-right: 15px;" width="175">

and replace it with the following
<td width="175px" style="background-image:url(images/mainbg.png); background-repeat: repeat;">

and it should work just fine :) any problems let me know :)

Only because my title says "Coder/Designer" doen't mean I'm good at this so I'm asking you for a little more help than that, please.

This is the code:

<table width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" class="page" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td width="16" bgcolor="#0d150f" background="images/styles/rwc_372/misc/rwc_leftside_spacer.png"><img src="images/styles/rwc_372/misc/rwc_leftside_spacer.png" width="16" height="1"></td>
******** <td width="208" bgcolor="#0d150f" background="images/mainbg.png"><img src="images/mainbg.png" width="208" height="1037"></td> ********
<td width="100%">
<!-- open content container -->

<if condition="$show['old_explorer']">
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<tr>
<td class="page" style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px">

<else />
<div align="center">
<div class="page" style="100%; text-align:$stylevar[left]">
<div style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px" align="$stylevar[left]">
</if>

I put the part that I want to act as a background in within "********".

hmm get rid of the TD you put and replace "<td class="page" style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px">" with he code i provided in my past post and see if that works.

I wasn't able to find "<td style="padding-right: 15px;" width="175">" anywhere. And are you sure we are talking about the same thing? I noticed that the code in your post is about the spacer...

All I want is to have the image as a background so that content will float over it...
