Instructions In Download Folder

Goto: http://www.netzgesta.de/instant/instant.zip check out the license, and if you satisfy the conditions download the package. It is free.
Create a folder called js
Put the following two files ( from download package ) in the js folder and upload to your server
cvi_text_lib.js
instant.js

Ok looked at this for a while.

There are no hooks from what I see in the beginning of forumhome, they all apply to wgo ( whats going on )

So as PinoyRepublichttps://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1957066&postcount=106 stated, you need to cheat.

Essentially this is what I did.

Find: in product-newalbum.xml file


$template_hook['forumhome_wgo_pos2'] .= $templater->render();

Change to:


$ad_location['ad_navbar_below'] .= $templater->render();

Or use my rejigged product file

One small glitch though - some of my members names are long and the suffix 's Album goes missing or partly missing. Is there a way to change the font size? Also there is a space between a members name & the suffix.
eg JoeBlow 's Album rather than JoeBlow's Album

This will fix the space before the apostrophe.

Regarding the titles usernames etc. You would have to edit cvi_text_lib.js

Is there any way to make the images & frames slightly bigger than the standard appearance? I'm trialling this on test forums at the moment, have it positioned just below menu, but the images all look kinda small to me.

that is because {vb:raw lpicture.username} refeers to the config setted on Rewrite Albums URLs..

but i dont know why, on alt="{vb:raw lpicture.username} 's Album" line (newalbum_picture), i deleted {vb:raw lpicture.username} value (keeping 's Album), but there is no changes on text displayed :S

would you like to send me your Rewrite Albums URLs configuration to get this extension work fine...or something to fix this?

This hack just changes the appearance of the images, everything else is pretty much catered for in the original Mod.

It has two choices from recollection:

Random album images
Latest album images

If a user marks a album as private I think it respects that condition.

Oh wait I was finally able to get it (yah I uploaded to the wrong place). By the way, do you know if the Atakans original mod fixed the User Privacy issues? I love your mod (installed and nominated :P), but I think it is a concern for me if it doesn't respect user permissions. Like if someone has set their albums to only be seen by friends, and then this mod throws it up there for anyone to see that would be a problem.

Do you by chance know how to fix this? Thanks again.

PS: Oh yah how do we get rid of the green man? And is there any way to get the effects to work on the Album Cover Thumbnail? I added your template edit to get it working on the pictures when you click an album, but the cover still remains unstyled(have to edit album_list template?). Thanks again.

I havent got server access at the moment, whilst we do some restructuring.

1. i dont think atakan ever fixed the private issue.
2. the green man, not sure < I dont use this mod > so cant recall, if you PM me admin access and account details ( user / pass ) and links I will gladly look for you.

Hey Tim thanks for the response. Actually I just tested it and yah it looks like the privacy issue hasn't been fixed so I won't be able to use this mod. A lot of my members have private albums, so this would just wreak havoc! Anyway thanks again for your help this is a really great mod I'm disappointed I won't be able to use :(.

Yes VB4 and I cannot find were these items are located, they are not in the Album Template and I have check every where else. Not sure how this stuff goes missing, is this the location where the templates should be?

Also what is the exact code to increase font size in the picture? Some pictures have the Polaroids -while the others don't. There are 8 pics in total and only 5 have the polaroid backgrounds. How to fix?

I have this installed, and it was working great. I just noticed now that anyone uploading new pictures to the album do not have the border. So on my home page there is a mix of older pictures with the border and the newer ones without. Any idea of why this would happen?

I installed the product at #2 and followed the instructions in the txt file; also created that JS folder as instructed.

I have these problems:

1. There are a lot of instances of appearing.

2. Some pictures get changed to the coded border, but some do not.

3. Is it possible to change the position of the latest albums area to below the ad placed below the navbar? I have an ad there and I think it looks better to have the ad above the latest albums area.

AdminCP > Settings > Message Attachment Options > Thumbnail Size (150 px looks good)

Now goto Update Counters > Rebuild Attachment Thumbnails.

Do not forget if you have already uploaded pictures you must upload them again!!

To change the album title at the bottom for the image description:

Find newalbum_picture template

Look at the last four lines.

and change this line {vb:raw lpicture.title} to {vb:raw lpicture.caption}

OK I think I uploaded it to the correct area /forums/js

but I noticed a couple issues... Only a couple images are actually seem to be effected by this script and the other is not, what is this.. Also my vb style is black and the Random Album Picture background is grey.. How can I change that.

Works for me on 4.0.8. Only problem is my thumbnail images are to big and the last one overlaps the border. I hope there is a way to just resize my thumbnail sizes for this mod only, and not all my attached images.
