when i post as an admin i can post as many tags as i want. when a regular user makes a blog post he/she can only use 2 tags, it always returns an error that the limit has exceeded.

I checked my limits and the defaults are 5 for a regular user, and 2 for additional non-author tags.

anyone else experiencing this?

its funny too because on the side of the tag field it says: "You may add 5 tag(s) to this entry" but the limit of 2 is enforced. This is a real hassle for me because I use tags to keep visitors rotating between my pages. And the limit of 2 tags limits that interaction.

Go into your Usergroup Permissions and Check to make sure your usergroup has the Right to Use Tags

Admin CP> Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Choose the Usergroup that you want to enable tags for > Post/ Thread Permissions > check can use tags/ can tag own threads/ can tag others threads/ etc

For Blogs:

Admin CP> Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Choose the Usergroup that you want to enable tags for > Blog Entry Permissions > can create tags/ can tag entries etc (make sure they are set to YES)
