Ok so I have enough done on my website where I would like some feedback from outsiders.

Here is my custom portal that only has 13 query's.

Here is the forums.

No the skin is not totally custom. Makes it easier to update. I have a lot more to do but before I go to far I would like feedback and critique.

Now that I am almost finished with this I can start working on my modifications again.

I liked the last design soooo much better.

Maybe it is just the header that is not doing it for me I don't know but I am just not feeling it. The Front page isn't that bad though...reminds me of cmps :)

I had the blue style set as default.

Sorry about that.

no I meant your 3.8 design... sorry. It was very clean. I think I actually commented about it over at vbsetup?

Oh yeah I was wondering where you seen it at.

The default Black style mimics that design from 3.8

Get rid of the splash page

The only problem with that is vBulletin does not like more then one index page.
So when they are on the main site it will show them as being on the forum home page.

I could do a redirect in the index.php of the main site to main.php. How do you think that would work?
I could do it as a 301 redirect for the robots. Would having index.php forwarded to main.php be a problem with SEO?

Ahh yes that is right...bleh

You can use the info here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=231568

This way that they are showing you is much better then having a splash page any day of the week.

Even if you made the home index.php and the forum forum.php that would be better then the splash... :)

Hope that helps.
