Tagging Categories in vBulletin

Good Day -

I have used several sites with vb and I'm a developer. Recently got a project where a customer with an existing vb installation requires to have his Categories tagged.

Have seen that tags exist for threads but never saw a Category tagged. This need comes from the fact the client has many Categories and wants to tag them for easier access to them.

If someone has a pointer to help me out it will really help me getting a dev license from him before moving forward with the project.
