vBulletin Integration Introduction
Basically the module can integrate the chat and vBulletin seamlessly.
So what the module can add to vBulletin? It adds a chat button which links to a fabulous chat room, with multiple skins and multilingual support, written in flash or HTML/Ajax, and a visual setting panel, etc. Recent changes: the backend management is enhanced.
1. Chat Button
Firstly a chat button will be added to the top menu of vBulletin as the chat room entrance.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/
2. Auto-login

Although the chat system is nice, this plug-in is not. It is not very well documented and support is vague. I've paid for a month of service with 123Flashchat, but I think that will be my last... This plug-in only works on the forumhome page, doesn't have any username markup or linked profiles, editing of the index.php file is required, and when you try to get help, they just tell you to give them your SSH, AdminCP, and FTP info so they can do it, which most administrators wouldn't even consider.
There is poor English & lack of a space after commas all throughout the plug-in and the chat system, and add-on modules are way over priced. The directions show you screenshots of the software but offer nothing in terms of actual instructions or reference to how things should actually be executed.
Do your research before you take this step. Hopefully, an experienced coder will come along and make a much better vB plug-in to replace this one.
Sorry for the rant...

I am in the process of messing with this at the moment. It's pretty easy to change some aspects of the text and some object colors, but to change the skin colors (SWF files) isn't so easy.

Again, I wouldn't waste my time here. Another thing that is hidden is that you have to PAY them $100 per hour if you want to change YOUR smilies or avatars. So for 24 avatars, it would cost $200!!
Their support still sucks, I've been trying to pry out of them how to enable iPhone and Android users to access the chat system, and all they keep doing is sending me to THEIR iPhone chat page. I want to it on MY OWN server, not theirs. They let you edit your own skins, why not allow you to have your own smilies and avatars?
There are way too many hidden surprises, read EVERY PAGE before you buy this software. Thankfully, I only paid $19 for one month and I can walk away.

Dear Jman,
You are right. At the moment, it is a little complex to change the skin colors. We are trying to improve this. Thank you.

Dear sir,
Please send a ticket to support@123flashchat.com? And you could also contact the sales you bought our chat from. They may solve your problems soon.
If you had sent ticket, please tell me your ticket ID, we have a process for quality assurance of our CS.
For the iPhone Chat Client Code, please open your admin panel -> Code Generator -> choose Html Chat, then Click Next to configure. It will give you the code instantly. Hope that can help you in time.

The module is udpated to 2.0. The remarkable change is that a free hosted chat will be offered to your vBulletin forum, and the back end admin console has been enhanced. Try it out!

Yes, even the free hosted chat mode, you can run the chat only on a pop-up window, not embedded, actually it's a more popular one among all vBulletin users:)

For those that are having problems getting their 123flashchat.php to work via a link on the forum. There is kind of a work around.
Copy and paste this into a new notepad, save as chat.html. Upload to your forums root (yoursite.com/forum/chat.html)
<!-- FOR 123FLASHCHAT CODE BEGIN -->
<div name="123flashchat_div" id="123flashchat_div" align="center">
<div name="flashchat" id="flashchat">
<EMBED src="http://yoursite.com/client/123flashchat.swf?init_host=89.0.252.86&init_port=51127&init_host_s=89.0.252.86&init_port_s=&init_host_h=89.0.252.86&init_port_h=" allowScriptAccess="always" HEIGHT="360" WIDTH="780" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" name="topcmm_123flashchat" menu="false" quality="high" />
</div>
</div>
<!-- FOR 123FLASHCHAT CODE END -->
replace this URL below with the URL that is generated when you generate code in 123flashchat admin panel
http://yoursite.com/client/123flashchat.swf?init_host=89.0.252.86&init_port=51127&init_host_s=89.0.252.86&init_port_s=&init_host_h=89.0.252.86&init_port_h=
Now go to your navbar template.
Look for (or something similar):
<a rel="help" href="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="5">$vbphrase[faq]</a></td>
Add above
<td class="navm"<A
HREF="chat.html"
onClick="return popup(this, 'notes')">Video Chat</A></td>
Remember to edit <td class="navm" with the td class that is in the rest of your template. So for example, if your <td class="sum1", make sure you change it to this.
All done. Now the link should work, and when clicked will open up in a new window.
Hope this helps somebody.

Dear Dan321, Thank you for sharing your tips, it will add a chat link to vbulletin like that, but please bear in mind that single sign-on will not work without attaching init parameters in it.

Jman,
Users can actually upload their own avatars now. It's great! (Except when it's their pee pee or something, Lol) I'm not sure at the moment what the story is with smilies. I must ask, cos I'd like to add Yahoo! emotes.
I'd have to completely disagree with your comment on the support, although your post is old. We've had tickets responded to immediately, expect at weekends.
We've had our iPhone/Android app enabled with ease.. We're on HTML5 now, I don't even think you need an app anymore!
We're currently using 123FlashChat over three years now, and recently on two sites.
There have been many improvements and changes made over this time and they're really listening to their customers on what could be added to make it even better!
123FlashChat could be the future and we'll probably see less and less of chats running on IRC, DigiChat and stuff like that.
There are many ways in which you can customize this software to meet your very own needs.
Overall, I would recommend 123FlashChat.. the alternatives don't even come close to what 123FlashChat offers.
We're version 9.9 ... I've heard 10.0 is out at the end of the month! A few minor bugs need to be ironed out.

I installed this, but it does not work at all. It does add a chat link to your site, leading to a popup. But the popup stays empty.
The instructions mention an admin panel where you need to fill in settings, but as nothing loads there also is no admin panel.
