How do you enable CMS and the other features that come with the suite version after you upgrade from vb4.0 forums to vb4.0 suite

It's enabled by default. But if you followed advice here and disabled hooks, you'll need to re-enable them.

You don't see blog and cms options just below Settings on the left? Then maybe you need to ask over at vb.com, as this is unlikely to be an issue with modifications.

I don't know why you might have to upgrade twice.

I have asked over there, but they don't know what support is and it takes them months to reply and give you an answer.

When you upgraded did you disable your hooks through the config.php file? If so they are globally disable and you will need to edit that out of the config.php file.

When I upgraded from 4.0 to 4.0.1 my blogs disappeared. I reran the upgrade link and it came back. Maybe Ry that?

After reading his thread over at vb.com, I think he really does need to "re"install. Apparently he upgraded, then purchased the suite, thinking he wouldn't have to download a different package, but could just enable a setting somewhere.

Yes, you need to download the suite and run the upgrade in that.

I have the smae problem. I upgraded from 3.*. No CMS or Blogs in the control panel.

I'll try a reinstall.
