tbh, i have no idea since i have NOT used vB4 Suite. I was going to wait till 4.0.2 is released when vb4 gets more stable in terms of design. There are still lot of small specks and lots of bugs. I was going to upgrade to suite only after those are sorted.
But constant emails and PM eventually made me released this sooner than i would have hoped..

But if it works fine on your forum i guess thats a plus, but ideally i was going to do more structure change in CMS so well if by default if it works, guess that is an advantage.

Actually, the images are there, but the paths are incorrect.
All my other styles use the same path

images/cms/read_more-right.png (default images from Vbulletin)
But yours read
digitalvb/morbid/cms/read_more-right.png

I just changed the Stylevar ImagePaths >>Imgdir_cms to images/cms/
all the images in the CMS will show up.

Small fix for it. Find Stylevars > link_textdecoration > mark underline to yes and None to No.

Had to add a small change between links and text. since they are both same colors.

None of the templates have been altered much, only css and style vars and small mods are done, If you can alter the default then you can alter this..

There are mods that you can add or choose not to show some of the default tabs.
Or, you can make the changes in your 'navbar' template.
If you wish to 'change' the names, I believe you would do that via your "Phrase Manager"

The space there seems to be for the header Logo which you dont have ? not sure..
Also the w3c Validator thing, i just checked the default vb style which gave 3 errors too . are you sure those arent the same?? I havent done much template edit in these which is why if there's any error it should be in default one too..

Thats the doc_background color, Its not a seprate image.
Just change its color to the 2nd wrapper color so it merges with next on.

Its not an image or script buddy.. its just the background first layer. Either you can change the doc_background color or change the background of #morbid-box div.

This might be a stupid question, but before we upgraded, we were using a template that allowed us to replace the little status boxes to the left of each forum with our own image. This was done by opening each forum in Forum Manager and simply putting in a replacement URL. It seems to be gone since the upgrade. Is this possible in this template or does 4.x now make that impossible?

I have this style installed and I love it. I've customized it color-wise quite a bit but not much in the way of other real modifications. For some reason, any post that has an attachment shows up indented in the post listing when you open a forum. This looks pretty strange. I can provide a screenshot or link if necessary. Do you know what might be causing this?

This doesnt look like its updated. In postbit definately its not like that, try installing the 4.0.3 style again separtely and see the difference, I have trimmed out 4.0.3 considerably and made many changes. Just install a test style with new 4.0.3 XML and see difference frm upgrade.

There is a small issue with selected top link button in case of notification.
Just goto Style Vars for the morbid style ur using and change 'navbar_background_notify' color to #dedede.

either you didnt revert some templates after upgrade or your not using the latest version. Just try a fresh install of skin and 4.0.3 and see if problem persists.

Seems you are using fixed width. try changing width to maybe 1020px from
stylevars > doc_width > increase it from 980px. to maybe 1020px.

Did you upload the digitalvb folder in forum root or inside images folder.. Please check the path. 'digitalvb' folder should be in forum root There are no issues with image paths if uploaded correctly.

I'm assuming you did what I did first and extract the digitalvb zip file and upload that folder....however if you look in that folder there is another digitalvb folder, thats the one you want to be in the root directory.

These all seem to be problems with file structure..
Here is the correct structure on how to upload..

Now digitalvb folder should have something like this

That's saying that it DOESN'T show the avatar. On my page, it DOES show them and I don't want them shown. And it's with this style. The default vB style doesn't show the avatar for me.

I'm experiencing a small incompatibility with IE 8. (Firefox displays the style fine.) Certain widgets have the picture missing graphic (red 'X') to the left of the widget title. Also, the colors and icons in the thread listing display (I think that's it, it's once you click on a forum and see all the threads) seem to be a bit different in the demo than in the available xml file. like the orange/grey keytags (i think that's what they are) as well as the lighter blueish/purple hue in the demo.

Not trying to be picky, I appreciate that this a free style, but would like to make it look more like the demo if possible. any assistance is appreciated. thanks.

This looks great except I'm having a problem in the user profile. All of the text is unreadable due to being light grey or white on very light backgrounds, or dark grey on a blue background.

In lieu of any replies, I worked on this myself today. I fixed the bulk of it by changing the following code in lines 215 & 216 of profilecustomize.php from this:

'moduleinactive_text_color' => self::$stylevars['header_background']['color'],
'moduleinactive_link_color' => self::$stylevars['header_background']['color'],

to this:

'moduleinactive_text_color' => self::$stylevars['body_color']['color'],
'moduleinactive_link_color' => self::$stylevars['link_color']['color']

Then from there I turned on profile customization and fixed the remaining by customizing my profile and then setting it as the site default.

The only reason I could get away with this is that this particular forum I'm using this on is a new one with a brand new installation of vB (no users yet) - If this were on one of my 10,000+ user forums where thousands of people had already customized things I think it may have been tougher.

Hope this helps someone out until we get some kind of "official" fix. I really think this is due to the ongoing bad implementation of stylevars and not the skin itself, however it still needs to be fixed to work around vB's changes.

Profile system is still not properly linked to stylevars. I dont know if it will. I saw these patches and SQL queries for profile patch. For now i cant work too much on default look of profile as it inherits.

Looks like the border sticking out.. try setting forumbits_border to "0px" or change the forumhead_border to "1px" hope that helps.

I have added the Profile Colors Fix, its an annoying vB bug which i would have hoped they fixed but apparently didnt. It reads colors from header_background. Anyway hopefully the fix should do it.

I had this issue the first time i installd style at vb4, i believe this is more of a vB issue, perhaps some upgrade errors or sumthin..

It could be because of some new URL functionality but not sure.. this cannot be a skin issue. You try a new test board and see if the problem still persists..

@ Kolbi, I use a main container div for the whole style, including the header which vB default doesnt use, they use a wrapper which starts after navbar.

@ DaffyDuck, check the additional.css you will find min-height for forumhead. Customizing font face can be done through style vars or editing specific fonts in css.

When you import a style there is an option of Merge into style.. before you do that just install and temp, default vB style and merge it into that.

I dont think the AJAX issue is with this style, trying checking the mods if any installed.. Disable the Plugin/Hook system and see if issue still occurs.

Its not theme error, you didnt upload the sprite image...
