Interesting. I like the design. I would make it a little wider though. It looks a little to compact maybe?
Do you like open a new forum like once a month or something? lol

haha, no :-P
what resolution are you using?
I'll see if I can make a more expanded version for smaller resolutions that automatically picks based on a users current resolution..
I tried to make it so the forum would be centered and I needed the space on the left side for the design of the fish jumping out of the base frame of the forum.. I went for the more proportional approach..
think it would look good having just the space on the left side and being fluid on the right?

nope why?

1920 x 1200
But I have the browser at about 1/2 to 3/4 of the screen which is 24" widescreen. It just seems tiny like this haha
I guess if I opened the browser more it looks great! :D

ah I see haha, I'm using the same size screen & resolution.
guessing the block made it look a lot smaller when your window was half sized?
it's set to autohide the blocks on the side if someone has a low resolution like 1024x768 but since you are on a high resolution just not maximized it can't do that for you :-P
think doing the fluid on the right side would look okay though?

Now it is not centered.
If you actually left it that width and centered it it might look OK.

I know it's not centered.. I told you it wouldn't be if I did that lol..
Can't just center it currently, the left side NEEDS 150 px of space due to the styling. which means the right side also needs 150px of space to be centered.

LOL! I read that wrong! haha When reading it again I see what you meant haha
Yeah keep it like you had it then if you have to have the 150px on the right. Till you can center it ;)

I made it smaller margins so it's overall centered but looks less squished.
