Posting RSS Items as Threads Not Working

I've been trying to show the RSS feed from my wordpress blog to a forum in my vBulletin 4.0 forum. I've setup a category named Blog Feed. I've followed all of the direction to Post RSS Items as Threads into a child forum named RSS Feed. For some reason the RSS feed will show as an announcement if I add it as an annoucement, but doesn't update when the RSS feed from my blog updates as a post or a thread. What am I missing here? :confused:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please let me know if I need to give more info to help solve this issue.

I'm having similar problems. For me, an RSS feed creates threads in the target forum sporadicaly. And the scheduled RSS Robot doesn't seem to work when the target is to create Threads rather than Announcements.

The RSS feed import process in vb4 has its nuances. When testing an RSS feed, I had found that it would work once, then when I kept testing the feed, the same fed items wouldn't be read again.

Turns out that you have to clear out parts of the rsslog and rssfeed MySql tables. Once an RSS feed item has been read, it will not be read again until you deal with these tables.

Is this the sort of problem you're having, meaning, has it ever worked for you?

Was there ever a fix for this.

My external RSS feed will only post on my board on creation of the feed in feed manager.

From then on out it will never post again.
Clear last run time.. Manually run.. Nothing
Disable both the scheduled task and the RSS feed. Re-enable. Manually run. Nothing..
Edit Feed and click "preview feed" it will preview.
Save and Manually run. Nothing...

Delete feed in Feed manager and create again.. It will post once.. But never again..

Feed in feed manager is set to run ever 10 minutes. "Last check time" never changes..
Clear last check time.. Manually run. Stays blank.

Scheduled tasks states it ran.

VB 4.0.6

Added another RSS feed from Google. Save it and Both RSS feeds updated their "last checked times in RSS Feed manager and posted.

Scheduled task RSS Poster Robot runs and updates it's "next run time" However it does not kick off the RSS Feeds in Feed manager.

Patience is a virtue.. Who would have guessed that a scheduled task set to run every 10 minutes would take 4 hours to magically start working... lol
