Upgrade Problem

hi,

I was wandering if anybody could help me?

i have tried to upgrade my forums from vb 4.0.0 to vb 4.0.1

during the upgrade, i got the following message:

Step 5) Merge template changes
Merged template successfully: album.css (style: 2)
Merged template successfully: block_threads (style: 2)

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 70516736) (tried to allocate 2514 bytes) in /home/myhostdir(changed for security)/public_html/includes/class_diff.php on line 146

I can not complete the upgrade due to this. any suggestions?

I got this exact error message yesterday... I tried again and it completed successfully.

Just run it again and it should complete. Or, you can up your memory_limit in php.ini.

where do I find the file memory_limit in php.ini?

You should ask your host for help with this if you do not know where your php.ini file is.
