Hey Guys,

So I thought I'd come and put myself in front of the firing squad :)

Admin Extra is not even a week old - we started development Wednesday afternoon and after feverishly working a lot from then we've managed to get to a point where we can go live. There are still a few little things that need doing - TOS posting up (all written, just need completing) a few images on the style and our logo - which we're having trouble with :D

I'd love to hear what you all have to say - mainly about our style and forum structure. There's not a lot of content yet as we're still working on that.

I appreciate it :)

oh.. linky to the forum (still working on the homepage) - Admin Extra (http://adminextra.com/forum)

At the bottom of the page - in the "Community Software Discussions" - something is breaking the frame and pushing the forum sections way to the right.

Besides that, I liked the contrast of the colors, which makes the forum easy to read.

"Powered by vbulletin" - is still in the site title.

Meta description and keywords look good.

Thanks! Think we fixed the frame breaking now :) and you're right, we need to remove the "powered by vbulletin"

For a Webmaster forum 'powered by vbulletin' is not that bad.

True, but a bit of customisation isn't always a bad thing..and i do like to add my own touch to these little comments :D

Should change your url to www.adminextra.com instead of that adminextra.com :)
Redirect to www. via .htaccess

Why? www or http:// is interchangeable :) We've set it to redirect to http:// instead of www in .htaccess

www is depreciated...

Or like Azh said you can really use either

Yeah, there are some strong ones for sure :) We're hoping to take a slightly different approach to things. I admin'd at one of those forums on and off for 6 years, so I should hope I have a good idea of what needs to be done :D

I kinda like the place, consider adding another style.

Well, we've made a lot of updates to the site in the last couple of weeks - and since opening we've managed to hit over 7,000 posts and have a good active memberbase (while still relatively small in the grand scheme of things).

A couple of changes I'd like comments on is our new shiny logo and our funky sidebar (yes it's funky, trust me :p!) if you people wouldn't mind taking some time out to check it over :D
