Not sure if this is the proper place to ask this but I was referred to this site to do so. That said, I am looking for an option to put up a nice slideshow on my homepage. I am using VB4 gold with all files in my root so no /forums folder.

There is a product called Frontpage Slideshow which has a static php version and I have tried getting help from those people but they seem way to wrapped up into Joomla to want to help out. All I get is use the static version as a response. I don't even know if that will work properly or not as when I tried it, the instructions say modify your index file where you want the slideshow to be at. That isn't something that works in VB or ateast not for me as my index.php file isn't some HTML page.

All this said, is there a solution other than this one or does someone know how to make this one work?

I am looking for more than just a picture slideshow as it has to be able to link to specific content on the site as well.

Thanks for any and all help.

that is very nice. I used a free java thing on some other pages as a test but it puts slide in the top corner as well as links at the bottom of the box.

Yours seems very clean and works well.

Can you link the slides to pages?

either way, I would in fact like to get your help with what you have there.

I see also you are a gaming site. We are a social community for gamers of all types. Might be something there to discuss beyond the slideshow.

Let me know if you want to do further discussions via PM or email.
Thanks for your help.
