Is it possible to write PHP code in a post

Is there a way for a user or administrator to have some PHP code parsed inside of a thread post? I want to run a loop that generates a table inside my post, using info in an xml file. I can write the PHP, but I don't know how to have it parsed in the post.

Is there a way to do this?
